His stamina seems very good to me, he was getting worked all night to the body and was still showing good speed, a lot of shots being thrown, was not tirinig at all with all the running I was pretty impressed with his stamina credit to Ariza and his shakes... but His demise was inside game, he boxes well on the outside but he will always have problems with people that bring that inside game, and Roach can't teach inside game in a few months.. he will have to groom hm for years like he did PAC.
In my opinion his style is still made for the amateurs.. He throws allot of punches and he moves around the ring way too much.. Against a passive fighter this style would work in his favor but when it comes to getting dirty in the trenches, he's forced to keep moving to avoid any serious damage. As he get older, this is not going to get better, his style type is built for very young fighters that have the energy to keep up that peace. unless he learns how to fight on the inside and get comfortable, Id give him two years at best if he continues to use this style.
Given that he is facing good opponents, there still remains the fact, he out the gate quick and down the stretch slow.. His conditioning is with in his control, which he seem to not be able to control at all. Ortiz and Bradley both handled Peterson style with out gassing at the end, Kahn on the other hand did not.. What does that say about Kahn?
:yep He showed very good stamina, but lacked skills in or any type of inside game.... His inside game consisted of Pushing, Holding and holding down blocking shots with his face and gloves... and the funniest clown running LMAO
I think Floyd Flattens him easily... there is no Roach trained fighter than can beat Floyd between 140 and 154 lbs
I think it takes the first four or five rounds to come to terms with his speed. Once they have, its just a case of wearing him down on the inside. Its not his conditioning that lets him down, its simply that he lacking technically on the inside.
Even with the size difference, I wouldn't be totally confident of him beating Marquez never mind Mayweather.
Ortiz gassed a bit and Bradley is known for having ridiculously good stamina. I don't think that's the greatest body of evidence.
The body shots bothered him to the point that he changed his game plan and had to go the ropes where he got battered to the point that he turned his back
He's had stamina issues forever. Hence his partnership with Roach and Ariza. --- He fought like a pus because he was visibly tired after round 2. I said to my brother during round 1, "what is he doing? He is going to gas out if he keeps throwing those super fast combos." He came out and used all his gas in throwing mega fast, super sharp shots in round 1.
