Why does khan get so much hate?

You mean Carl Froch the world class boxer who was totally ignored by the general public until his career was winding down?

For what it's worth I don't think much of Froch the man. Khan scored a PR own goal everytime he opens his mouth. He's neither a nice guy nor a believable bad guy. What we're left with his a pampered little princess who has had the red carpet rolled out for him from the age of 18 who doesn't appreciate how lucky he has been to be given the opportunities that he has. Especially considering he's been brutally knocked out a couple of times in fights pivotal to him reaching the top level he claims he deserves to be recognised at.

in case you didn't realize, it takes initiative and the desire to want to find out how good you are to leave a self-indulgent promoter like frank wa+ren, and actually make your own luck on a bigger stage.
nothing about khan leaving war+en to further his career (as hatton did) had anything to do with a "red carpet rolled out in front of him"

It's mainly the americans that hate Khan. Because they know he could beat every american boxer in his division. Floyd included.

It's the other way around, really. Khan gets a lot of following for being ****stan and muslim.

Why the hell is the word p.a.k.i.s.t.a.n. censored here?

If Khan was white, he wouldn't get as much attention and would be considered boring and overrated.

What has W@rren got to do with what I said? I hate old fish eyes and think Khan was right to leave him. That doesn't change the fact he was paid a massive signing on fee, televised from the outset on big shows, given huge endorsement contracts and found the mainstream media very friendly supporters.

Few boxers could claim to have received such support and yet all he does his whine about what he doesn't get.

Thats why I didnt generalize. I made it quite clear that thats why "some" of his hate is based on his ethnicity.

I'm aware he's a world class fighter. The problem is that think he's a p4p top 5 guy when in reality he was a good belt holder who got stopped the last time he fought an incumbent champion.

I also think he IS recognised as world class he just isn't as highly rated by anyone else as he rates himself. There are a lot of under appreciated world champs out there but Amir Khan certainly isn't one of them.

    Not all of us .

I know talent when I see it .

Ima supporter of Khans , I find him entertaining and root for him a lot .

The only fight I rooted against him was Maidana .

He proved me wrong , shut me up and turned me into a fan .

He comes across as very arrogant. In the ring, he is a good, entertaining fighter and should be admired.
