Why does Khan get such criticism for his latest string of opponents

the algeri fight is an interesting one
stylistically, he was a total different fighter than when he fought pacman and his other opponents,
changing trainer made him kinda fight out of character
think they had a gameplay planned and obviously he fought totally different

 

beating Porter alone is better than anything Khan has done recently, he has been fighting light hitting former champions because he still hasn't gotten over the Garcia fiasco

 

But Khans a masterful boxer were told. Surely a masterful boxer has the iq to adapt mid fight?

Something Khan never did. Algeri should have at least got a draw.

 

i rewatched the fight before, and have a feeling he stole the rounds on throwing more shots and combo's and also more power shots
although algeri did tag him few times in some rounds

 

I don't blame him for trying but he's been trying for over two years now mostly using his mouth and past laurels, and he's not gotten the fights he wants. It's obvious that a high profile victory would help his cause at the least, and he has plenty of options but he won't go there. And the guys he's fighting are "higher caliber" opponents in general compared to GGG but are all similar style fighters that are light-hitters tailor made for Khan. Say what you will about his middling opposition, but GGG has fought a lot of different style opponents including some serious punchers and destroyed all of them. Khan gets in there with tailor made guys marking time and struggles mightily with some of them. At this point, Khan needs a legit win to get his profile up again and help his flagging PR. If not Brook, the Garcia rematch is a logical choice, he's looked horrible in recent fights but is still obviously undefeated, so Khan would get the credit for taking his zero if he won, get revenge, and Garcia is one of the less dangerous names out there despite having knocked Khan out. But I bet he will not take the chance.

 

Nah. Although his opponents aren't the best, they certainly aren't the worst. of them are light hitters who pose no threat to Khan's sensitive mandibular area. ge's bot the only kne though. Lately it seems everyone is playing the same tune.

 

I don't know where people get the idea that Khan is some master boxer who's impossible to outbox.

Nonsense. None of the guys he's been fighting since Garcia have been heavy punchers. Facts are facts. Collazzo caught Thurman with a perfect body shot, and hurt him, but what does that prove? That he is now a big puncher? He's never been known as a puncher. Alexander KO'd Urango, what 4 years ago? Point is, Khan is pullin the same **** most of the others have been...... He's taking weaker fights as he's trying to land the bigger game. It sucks all the way round, but he's not being held to any kind of higher standard. He gets a lot of guff due to the things that come out of his mouth.
