Other than his last fight with JMM, when has he ever done this in any other fights?

He facing the truth so he has to buy himself some time...When he spits his mouthpiece out, it's because he's gassed and also feels vulnerable...this buys him some time to cheat his opponent (it could be looked at as smart boxing as well) and catch some breath.

Pacquiao is the greatest fighter pound for pound ever. He would have beaten Leonard, Hagler, Hearns, Trinidad, Sugar Ray Robinson, Calzage, Julio Cesar Chavez, Carlos Monzon, Hearns, Mayweather (uncle and nephew both), Benitez, Roy Jones, James Toney and every other fighter to ever lace on a pair of gloves. Don't even think any of these guys had the all around skills that Pacquiao had. Not even close! And I'm dead serious.
