Why does Mayweather have an obsession with old fighters?

What is it with this guy? FFS, what is going on in his brain? How come almost every top level fighter he fights has to be old, bloated in weight, or just old as ****?

He shouldn't have been so afraid. Because he was always afraid he's not nearly as great as he could have been. He let fear dominate him. Instead of overcoming fear he just let it take over.

An important greatness criteria of a fighter is overcoming fear. The problem with Mayweather is he let fear take over his career. Instead of challenging guys in their prime he let his fear take over.

The better question is why are you talking about pbf when there is a hw fight on right now? Just shows you how obsessed you are seek help.

When I think of greatness I think of somebody like Tommy Hearns. He was like the ultimate representation of being a badass. He didn't give a **** about weight class. He didn't give a **** about age. He didn't give a **** about how good you were.

All he did was give it all he had and try to literally destroy people and leave them in his wake of destruction.

Mayweather was older than every guy in his last 8 fights. He was the old guy that the young guys were suppose to beat.

Would have loved to see him with Porter, Thurman or Brook, but nah. He didn't want it.

Why did he have to be afraid?

He's 38 years old dude. He was 32 when Keith Thurman had his first pro fight and 33 when shawn porter had his. Your name tinman fits your argument exceedingly well

TS is an idiot. Mayweather was older than Berto, Pac, Maidana, Canelo, Guerrero, Cotto. Are you going to criticize them for fighting an old grandpa Mayweather.

Just because you're old doesn't mean you should avoid prime fighters like Mayweather did.

If you don't want none of the best young and hungry fighters then retire. If you start telling me it doesn't matter because Floyd is also old then he should retire. Just quit, because it matters.

Why should it be in the classic thread?
