Why does Mayweather have an obsession with old fighters?

    I'm aware of all this, but I don't much care for business fighters. I care about being a badass.

    And the MAB example (fighting prime Pacquiao) thoroughly provides evidence for this. MAB was my father's favorite fighter so yeah I'm kind of biased here. He was a true boxer. A fighter and warrior who took on the best no matter how prime they were because he was a true, honest man and fighter.

    That's the standard I grew up with watching MAB. And it's what I've come to expect of any fighter. Because my father instilled in me that no fighter should duck a great challenge regardless of finances.

    My Reason is simple. Marquez knocked Pac unconscious, and Floyd beat Pac. There, that's why he has an obsession with old fighters.
