Even his trainer Teddy says that George set it up. He said they knew that George would do it and they worked on it in training yet Moorer still got caught with it!!!
Mate, he didn't beat him so bad at anything! Moorer had kicked his ass for nine rounds and George landed ONE ****in shot which scored a KO. If anyone got schooled in the fight it was Foreman and the "Go Home Punch" saved George's ass. A casual fan could analyse that fight for God Sake.atsch
It should have been no surprise to anyone that Foreman would try to land his right hand against a lefty like Moorer. Moorer stood in front of him and paid for it. You would think that after the 15th right hand that George threw in that round Moorer would've stopped standing in front of him and would have begun circling away from the right hand. If George only threw an occasional right hand it could be argued that it was a lucky punch. But after having tried to land at least a dozen right hands George clearly had an intent and it worked.
Probably because of George's nice guy persona in his second career after being known as a total ******* in his first career.
Wow, that's a riot. I didn't know Holy had a grill. Just watched his video. It's probably better than George's grill but he won't move nearly as many units.
there have been some fishy fights in hwt history, but Foreman - Morrer may be the fishiest one there ever was.
Exactly. Everyone saw that George was going to land that punch, including Moorer's dumbass trainer. Foreman was just too good that night.
Just too good that night? Foreman looked horrible. and he wasn't knocking anyone out prior to that fight. And Morrer looked like he rolled over. Morrer showed unbleievable heart in the Cooper. And why didn't Morrer's team even try to force Foreman to take a rematch? It's like they just surrendered the title. I just think it was very fishy fight. They needed a colorful character to combat the Tyson show on SHowtime.
A rematch clause with a man in his mid forties coming off a wide decision loss more than a year before?
