Why does Mosley get a pass for turning down a Mayweather fight for family reasons?

You're acting like Floyd had nothing to lose by fighting Mosley. Oscar was the fight Floyd had been chasing for years. No one would've guessed how much money Oscar-Floyd would generate. You're making assumptions AFTER the PPV numbers came out.

These people are in such a denial state of mind it's sickening. They have every piece of evidence right in front of them and yet they continue to put out "don't believe everything GBP or Mayweather says" BS out....

Of course there's a double standard against Floyd. He hasn't done anything more outrageous than Bhop has outside the ring. In fact you can make an argument that Bhop was worse with his borderline racist antics. Floyd's boxing style isn't any more boring than Bhop's style. Yet Bhop doesn't get trashed nearly as much as Floyd does.

I'm not sticking up for Floyd though. He brought **** upon himself by choosing to play a villain. It's just too bad people can't appreciate the role of a bad boy. His criminal record doesn't help either. Then again Tyson has done things far worse yet still has a huge fanbase. Go figure.

this is all moot now. they are fighting. besides to answer the TS question - Shane gets a pass of not being a ducker bc we all know he is a ****ing warrior FULL STOP.

Although floyd is not scared, his toughness is tarnished by the fact that he lets money, image and ego get into the way of big fights. So his business saaviness HAD created the perception of him being a chicken up until he just signed the dotted line. Lets see if he fights like a man on May 1st.

    ITS SIMPLE.

In my opinion, and as crazy as this may sound, if Floyd was to lose, I'm sure he'd feel better losing to a future HOFer then to Margarito.

If both Shane and DLH both said yes, since at the time Floyd did call out both, he'd take DLH over Shane 7 days a week. Remember, at the time, Floyd was still trying to join the "superstars" club in terms of notoriety and public acceptance.

Floyd wanted a fight in November 06. Mosley said we'll fight at the beginning of 07.

Doesn't sound like a duck to me. Floyd could've had it.

Instead he fought Baldomir in november.

    exactly.

He could've waited for Mosley till beginning of 07 but instead he chose to fight Baldomir in November 06.

Like he said in the interview Mosley was not available in Nov.06, but he would've taken the fight a little later.

Everyone is claiming Mosley ducked Floyd but its bull****.
