Why does Mosley get a pass for turning down a Mayweather fight for family reasons?

If you could really read what was to happen, Mosley never said it, but the way I see it and many others, is he gave way for the much bigger Oscar-Floyd fight. Shane is a small co-partner of GBP, who knows how much more money he actually earned form the Oscar-Floyd fight than if he would have fought Floyd himself back then. And if he fought Floyd and beat him then, there would never have been an Oscar-Floyd fight. And he thought Floyd would have fought him next, but NO, he chose Hatton then retired.

Mayweather would of been out nearly a year by that time.

3 Month gap between Baldomir fight and when Mosley fought.

Plenty of time. Shane couldn't offer him a fight then?

Oh thats right.. the DLH fight.

It is NOT considered ducking because Mosley clearly stated that he would fight PBF later the following year. And he even said in the same interview that if PBF decided to fight DLH first he would fight him after their fight.

It was PBF's choice to blackball Shane after defeating DLH. All of what I said is in the interview post Vargas.

And to take it one step further, Shane had stated prior to the 2nd Vargas fight, when their were rumblings PBF might be interested in a fight with Shane that he would not be fighting for a 3rd time that same year.

Everyone including HBO, Larry Merchant (who states this in the interview), and Floyd knew that Shane had already stated clearly, that he would not fight again that year. Even if it was the PBF fight but he would gladly take the fight early the following year, or after an also proposed DLH fight.

All PBF fans have to do is listen and read carefully.

Mosley getting a pass for it?

How about AFTER that vacation, he took on Cotto, Mayorga and Margarito, and was about to face Berto?

As for Mayweather, after that vacation, he took on a lightweight, and has no plan of facing Mosley until Berto gave way.

I hope it is now clear to you.

You aren't in any position to say how blood drawn affects anyone but yourself. Anyone with even a little bit of intelligence would understand that.

Because Mayweather haters don't like these things called facts. They seem to get in the way of hating on Floyd.

Everyone involved knows that Mosley turned down fights with Floyd twice. IMO, Mosley was probably hoping that Oscar would prove to big for Floyd, win and that would spark a big money fight for him to face Oscar a third time.

Also leaked out today that Manny just had his physical which included a blood test 20 days before the Clottey fight.

Face it, Manny just doesn't like blood work when it includes testing for PED's.

"Does it mean anything? Should it mean anything?
For boxing enthusiasts, it just might.
GMA News today released a report showing Manny Pacquiao (50-3, 38 KO) undergoing a routine physical prior to his bout with Joshua Clottey (35-3, 20 KO) on March 13, in which he is seen to undergo blood testing."

They offered mosley a date of nov 4th 2006 to fight floyd. But the problem as mosley said was this did not give him enough time after vargas in mid july to drop from 154 to 147 and fight floyd. Mosley also had fought vargas earlier that year too so he said he needed more time and would fight floyd in 2007. Mosley never fights 3 times in a year anyway and thats what he would have had to do if he took up floyds offer.
