Why does no one ever talk about Juan Manuel Marquez is a one dimensional fighter?

I look at JMM's earlier losses in the same view as Pac's earlier losses, Hopkins , to a degree even Lennox. THey all loss to less than stelar boxers- bar RJJ on Bhop, but was it because they were all one dimensional?

Is it possible he is one of those who fights UP or DOWN to the level of comp? Not big names or skill set in John or Norwood, yet when time in spotlight, he lights up.

Pac is the one who moved up in weight for the fight. Barrera vs Morales was way closer than Barrera vs Pac.

Watch Marquez' 3rd fight with Manny Pacquiao.
After seeing Marquez lose to Mayweather Freddie Roach's gameplan for Pacquiao was to make Marquez have to lead and come forward after Pacquiao.
Pacquiao actually sat back and was on the backfoot with the plan being that he'd make Marquez lead and Pacquiao would do what Mayweather did and be quicker and faster than Marquez on the counter.
Watch how strategic Marquez got under that plan by Pacquiao……..what Marquez did to counteract that gameplan was he probed Pacquiao to the pit of Pacquiao's stomach with the jab. Dipping low to probe with the jab got Marquez in position for his center of gravity to be down low to swivel and move his head when Pacquiao's counter was coming and in turn Marquez countered Pacquiao's counter.

If you want to call a fighter one dimensional, you'd have to do that to Pacquiao before you could do it to Marquez because in neither of the 4 fights they had was Pacquiao able to outbox Marquez while sitting back and waiting from the backfoot position, and believe me Manny Pacquiao tried.
Really think about it, you would think that a physical prime Manny Pacquiao, quicker and faster of both hand and foot, would be able to outmaneuver Marquez and beat him boxistically by just being quicker and faster, but that just wasn't the case.
Pacquiao just didn't have the boxing intangibles, IQ and know how to do it.
That 3rd Pacquiao fight is a prime example of Marquez diffusing a gameplan that Roach had to have Pacquiao sit back and wait for Marquez.
Go see the first few rounds of that 3rd fight my friend and you're going to see Marquez probe and take the lead, something you said Marquez couldn't do because he's to one dimensional. Apparently his dimensions are better than Pacquiao's as Marquez has been able to beat the quicker and faster Pacquiao both by coming forward and sitting back to counter.

If Marquez was the same size as Mayweather it would have been a very competitive fight. But when you bring a guy up 2 weight divisions and then just outbox him with pitter patter knowing he doesn't bring enough power to hurt you, that reeks.

I found it very strange that Morales didn't fight JMM, who also beat MAB. El Terrible never came across as being scared but this was one perplexing decision.

JMM and his brother Raphael, what a great pair of fighters.

Marquez is basically the absolute worst styles matchup for Pac. A hard punching orthodox fighter with a huge right hand, good stamina and tremendous precision.

Hes basically the Ali's Ken Norton. If God was producing a style to beat Pacquiao he would make Marquez.

Pacquiao does have issues with power right hands.

But hes still more versatile than Marquez. He has defeated all styles. Whereas Marquez has never really been able to handle pure boxers.
