if a weight is agreed on and the fighters make the weight i see no problem with his opposition.

the golden fishnet won't fight @ 147 again, and williams is too much risk for too little reward.

only a fool with deny the fact that de la fishnet has faced good opposition.

however, you have to be blind to deny the fact that oscar (who always has the leverage in negotiations due to popularity) has fought a lot of guys moving up in weight, to a weight class where they have little or no experience at.

This is the most bogus reasoning I've ever heard. Trinidad fans will state the two following contradictory statements:

    a ) Oscar only fights Tito's leftovers
b ) Oscar only fights smaller guys moving up in weight

What they really mean is "Oscar beat Tito in the rings and I need to be a little ***** to justify what the cards read"...

Truth is that Tito deserves to catch equal flack for the Mayorga fight. The only reason I see that he does not is that, unlike Forbes, Mayorga actually had a puncher's chance.

Tito was away from boxing. Mayorga not that long before fighting Tito was the Undisputed Welterweight Champ. Many people were picking Mayorga to beat Tito. Etc. Etc.

okay, tell me how many times trinidad fought guys moving up in weight, who had no or very little experience at that weight class.

then compare it to the number of guys de la fishnet did.

    thank you.

How about this, who has fought more P4P fighters, more champions, andhas a better Resume?

So while Oscar did and was fighting a few Elite fighters coming up from the weight class below, Trinidad was fighting bum after bum.

    What's your point?

I should be impressed with Trinidad because from all the belt holders at 147 at the same time he was, he has by far the weakest Resume?

Nice way to avoid the question.

I know tito's reign at 147 was full of overmatched guys. that has nothing to do with the topic.

the topic, started by you, is about why people are harsher on dlh for fighting a smaller guy than tito picking on a smaller fighter.

the answer is simple, the golden cross-dresser has a history of fighting smaller guys moving up in weight with little or zero experience at the new weight class.

    trinidad does not.

Oscar was also away from boxingnd :patsch And you , prescott, Gaygb, and the entire Anti-DLH entourage were saying how Mayorga would mop the floor with DLH. Using Forrest as an example, saying that Forrest who beat Shane lost to mayorga, then DLH who lost to Shane and is inferior to Forrest would be KO by Mayorga. I remember.

    So what's your point?
