No i'm not LOL. I probably said Hatton has a chance to win, but at the point they fought, i knew Pac would win. Hatton before Mayweather fight would have been much more interesting.

I never see anyone mention this, but Pac has the weight of his nation riding on his fists. In a mental fight, in a war, in a do or die, never give up situation, who do you think has the edge?

Exactly my point on Pac, he's been fighting come foward and stationary fighters for the last couple of years. Mayweather is not stationary at all. He uses the rope to trap fighters and get them to throw punches while using his defense. This usually gets his opponents over anxious, tired and frustrated.

Using the ropes against Pac is a bad strategy imo, his safe zone will be dancing around in the center.

pacquiao steam roles floyd. floyd hasn't got the power to hold pac off. floyd holds more and more judges give pacquiao the nod UD 8-4 style as pacquaio finishes the only man still punching whilst floyd is in survival mode.

The only way would be by a higher work rate

One thing though, pacquaio doesn't get tired. Pac has got the best engine in the game.

And not one fighter Floyd has ever fought is as unorthodox, akward and unpedictiable as Pacquiao. I would even say Floyd is more textbook and predictable than Pacquiao is. I'm not saying Pacquiao for sure beats Floyd but countering all of the claims that Pacquiao is an easy victory. Just like Pacquiao hasn't fought anyone like Floyd, there isn't anyone that comes close to Pacquiao on Floyd's resume. The closest style/type was Jesus Chavez and he didn't possess the level of power, speed, angles, that Pacquiao does. If Floyd does win, it comes at a price and that's the price, Floyd doesn't want to pay. :good

"Pac ain't Mayweather, and Hatton is better defensively than the fight with Mayweather"

Funny how things change. You stated that Pacquiao was fighting a defensively better Hatton. Now all of a sudden, Hatton was better before.

Hmmmnn.. I saw the same version of Hatton that Manny fought there. You can make fun of it because it ended early. But he stopped Hatton from being the Hatton that you saw in the Mayweather fight. And I'm not even joking about it.

Pacquiao has no real advantage against Mayweather.
There are areas that people think he has an advantage, but he dosn't.

    1. Speed: Pacquiao may be slightly faster, but only slightly. Mayweather's size and skills will off set what ever slight speed advantage Pacquiao might have.

    2. Power: In 2 bouts with a 147 Lbs weight limit and one bout with a limit of 150, Pacquiao has a grand total of 0 stoppage wins. If memory serves me corectly he has only one knockdown (Mosley 3rd round). Mayweather has shown to have a very good if not great chin and poise when in trubble.

    3. Work Rate. Pacquiao throws more punches than Mayweather. Mayweather makes his count. Mayweather also has a way of making his oppoents throw less than they normaly do. In the early rounds he keeps his distance never giving anyone a chance to engage while potshoting them. As the fight progresses he becomes the agreser while not throwing a whole lot of punches, Mayweather puts his oppoents on the defensive. Pacquiao will be no diffrent.

his potshoting skills wont be that effective against someone whose bouncing in and out all the time and someone who can move from side to side

it works well against fighters who doesnt move around that much
