You'll have to refresh my memory or give me a schooling on why he does so?

Is it because he can't get a license in the states?
Does he get paid good money over there? So it's a financial incentive?
Is it the only place that will have him?

What's his status over there? Is he popular, paid well, got many more fights line-up? What's the deal?

Because hes still very popular over there.

They dont care that hes washed up, they just want a chance to see the legend.
He also has some cushy deal set up with a Russian promoter.

    They even like his rapping!

He is not very popular, but he is a known name among the boxing fans. He probably has a good deal with Russian promoters.

He can probably fight some low grade bums over there and still get money/publicity.

In the USA i think people are kinda bored of his act.

But its a good business strategy nonetheless

    He's an idiot

    That's why

It's like Ali Leonard all over again

Every f'ckin boxer needs to watch pulp fiction and specifically the showing scene with Marcellus

Of all the fighters that would have stuck around too long I didn't think Reluctant Roy would be one of them.

I doubt he can get fights in US and get the same kind of payday he does overseas. Fans and the TV networks in the US know he's washed up. The Russian fans know he is washed up to, but they never had the opportunity to see him fight as he never left the US in his prime, it's a curiosity that people are willing to pay for and his name is still well known so promoters use it to sell tickets.

Russian people don't forget legends. In the States, nobody would give a flying **** anymore about RJJ.

It's because they still pay to see him over there. And like said, they even like his crapping.

Hes probably getting decent paychecks fighting over there . Who knows ?

This dude needs to seriously hang it up , and what sad is his confidence has just recently soared up again due to his recent 1st rnd knockout win .

The way hes talkin now , it seems like he thinks its 2004 all over again .

If he keeps fighting out there in Russia , Its only a matter of time hes going to run into one of those hardcore Russians and get put to sleep AGAIN .

Because nobody in the States wants to see him and no network will put him on tv. He is broke that is why he is still fighting.

I am actually appalled that he's out of cash with all the big fights he was in, horrible money management & not to mention he ate one too many roid milkduds.

His chin is god-awful and no1 wants to hear him rap. He will continue to entertain those fine Russian lads though.
