Funny you say that, i have spent time there and love it, i finally managed to convince my partner to go and when we returned her comment was Russia made the states look like a 3rd world s**t hole. Food for thought

    It's probably for tax reasons.

My guess is he owes the tax authorities in the states money and fighting outwith the states and claiming non-resident tax status in the US means they can't arrest his earnings from fights.

They've easily both got millions upon millions left.

Lewis could've come back anytime within the last 11 years and earned a fortune, why didn't he? He still gets mentioned as having £100+ mill in the richest sports lists. He was no fool.

I reckon Naz has still got £5/£10mill left as well. I know he's flash, but he's Asian - it's been installed in him since a boy not to **** away money.

    Russia has nice parts

    So does St Petersburg.

Huge swathes of it, are indeed, shitholes.

We're not talking 1st world, poor rural areas. Im talking "things havent changed much since the 19th century" type poor.

He probably makes more from his HBO gigs than from fighting.

Why would you go to Russia, when you are living in Slough - a hub of excitement, full of beautiful women?

Those rural areas only have a pretty small minority of population living there. What is more prevalent is decaying Soviet era industrial towns, that wouldn't look too out of place of Call of Duty.
