Why does Roach discredit his opponents?

He doesn't discredit nothing. All he does is analyze and tell people what they're planning to do with opponents being fully honest, he doesn't need to lie to get credit from anyone, he just tells it like it is. Besides, if he discredits them then why were almost all of Pac's opponents either heavy favorites going in or the betting odds are extremely close?. Roach surely told the public these guys aren't going to win, right?.

Be logical, all trainers do this, he won't go in and say "My guy has no chance but tune in, it should be fun seeing him hit the deck". All trainers discredit the opposing team, it's a part of competition in all sports.

Roach didn't take it like nothing, that's all nonsense. Roach was just honest, he said DLH didn't stick with the gameplan and isn't as he used to be immediately after the fight. DLH obviously didn't like it so he went back to Mayweather Sr. then to others for money reasons and whatever. Roach said the same thing about Hopkins immediately after the Calzaghe fight.

Where have you been? This is boxing. Everybody bad mouths everyone.
Well maybe except Pacquiao. He is a good mama's boy who doesn't say bad words. ^_^

He was pissed because Oscar didn't keep him on to the end of his career, like he said he would. That's why he was so happy Pacquiao beat the **** out of a weight drained, IV dripped, shot to **** ex-champion. He boasts about that 145lb horse**** fight to this day.

Yeah he had Hopkins a dead man after Calzaghe because he lost a close decision. He then watched Bernard remove Pavlik's organs in alphabetical order in style.

I just think the guy is an ******* mate and I have my reasons. Fabulous trainer none the less who has created a monster in Pacman.

It's pretty obvious that you think that.

I'm ok with crap talk to a certain level. Saying that a fighter is talentless or has a glass jaw, or will get KO'd in 3 rounds: that's just **** talk. That's just bravado, that's simple mind games.

Taking it past that to make accusations that stick... that's beyond what I think it acceptable.

Because its a big part of the sport trying to get into your opponents head. Pac is not one to talk ****, so Roach tries to do it for him.
