Pacquiao already fought at the Welterweight division and still be effective with the added weight (also speedy) but for Marquez, this is his first fight above 135 and we still don't know if the added weight will slow him down noticeably. Hopefully it doesn't.

What fighter are you talking about??

I know Pacman and Mayweather weigh under 150 fight night. Cotto is 160 come fight night. JMM is 141 fight night

it has mattered in both fights.

everyone has opinions on the guessweight and the height-reach difference
everyone has opinions on the catchweight and its relation to COtto's size against Pac

    Floyd stated it.

A 2-3 weeks after the announcement of the JMM fight.

Actaully weight will be a huge factor once floyd wins...It will be the same for Pac. Cotto wins and it will just be because Pac is too small. That will be the story anyways.

Excuse me. 2 Weeks after the announcement

"My uncle Roger and I, we have a tremendous game plan, and I'm going to be more than ready for this fight. Training camp is going amazingly well. I am weighing in around 146 or 147 and I know I will be ready on July 18th."

According to Pac Tards - He's lying.

:lol: Floyd can't weigh less than Pac. Otherwise it ruins the whole concept of weight issues.

Marquez will be jumping two weight divisions to fight Void. This will be Marquez' first fight at welterweight, but not Void's.

    143/144.

    8-9lbs.

Almost equal to the jump from 140 to 147.

    FLoyd always tells the truth.

Anyway, can we make a guess now as to what the contracted weight is between Marquez and FLoyd? or are they waiting for PBF to see how low he could get first?

Marquez is not used to the weight, Void is.
