When Arreola came in at 229 for the Damian wills fight his body looked good.
He's no sub 200 pound fighter.

Did you stop reading the sentence when you got to the "or"?

Whether you want to call it a stylistic matchup or not it is a problem caused by an opponent having a size advantage and the skill to exploit it.

Thats because the heavyweights and the champions located in that division are the best fighters,
As Tyson Fury stated, " the other divisions are their to protect smaller men from the heavyweights".

Pound is marketing for people to watch the smaller fighters, and appreciate their skill, so that the heavies dont soak up the lime light, pound for pound exists so smaller fighters get reputation and respect.

I am 5'9 and when I first saw how small some of these welters were in real life I Raughed. anything below light middle and then you begin to see really small men to midgets.

So because you inserted a conjunction in your sentence then everything before it gets canceled out? #mrkoolkevinlogic

Math and Science say otherwise. 80% of 246 is 197.

No, it is a stylistic matchup. So because fighter A happens to weigh 20 lbs more than fighter B doesn't mean they won because of a weight advantage. You completely avoided what I said about Willard and the link I provided. I'm guessing you looked at it, realized everything you thought you knew about "old big men" was wrong and are trying to change the subject.

plus a stamina and speed disadvantage, which the other boxer may have skills to exploit too.

i'm not sure why u only ever see one side of it.

You don't understand how "or" works? The part before the conjunction applied to the vast majority of Marciano's opponents; the part after to JJW, Charles, Moore, etc.

So the vast majority of Marciano's opponents were old? What is considered old to you?

JJW, Charles and Moore were too small for Marciano? Again I ask where does this principle of size determining the outcome come into play. Dempsey took out Willard, who had a 65 lb advantage, in 1 round so we know that it isn't there.

And Willard was a farmer boy with very little interest in boxing.

Also he came off a long layoff.

    "science".
Where did you test Arreola his fat percentage?

He is no way a sub 200 lbs fighter.

    He looked good at 229/230.
But you've never seen those fights so you think of bull****.

You can estimate it very closely with pictures on the internet. It doesn't take a genius.

At 10% bodyfat he IS a sub 200 fighter. Boxers are like anybody, just because they are fat doesn't mean they can't be slimmer.

Again, you also don't know anything about Jess Willard than what you were told by other people who dont know **** about Jess Willard. Willard had speed, mobility, and could box. I provided a link of the newspaper accounts for the Gunboat Smith fight. Willard was green and beat Smith by many eyewitness accounts.
