yes and when they got bigger they did not fall within this chart. the chart covers 6'9" and seven footers too. why dont they fall within the chart anymore? they are so overdeveloped now. weight is so important only the tallest can carry it all.

thats now!! only a tiny fraction are in it NOW. you wont have to wait seven hundred years.

 

its a way of saying something changed dramatically. the human species has not changed that dramatically because the army still requires men in the same proportion as world heavyweight champions used to be like. there would be no fit men in the army if the population developed itself as the elite heavyweight has.

 

okay so the very smalest gloves prior to the filmed era there was more holding even though it was under the quesbury rules. i can accept that part if you like. the joe louis (which may have had less holding than now)era still fought with much smaller gloves than now. 6oz and that went all the way up to 1956 in title fights. 10oz came in i think for title fights in the mid 1980s

 

I'm sure I've seen bodybuilders or UFC fighters who are US army.
Maybe they were US marines.

Joe Louis was probably way over 220 pounds when he was actually serving in the military.

I don't know why you say something has changed dramatically. They got a bit heavier, that's all.

in seven hundred years there will be more great fighters hopefully. lets hope from now till then there might be changes in the sport to improve things.

Height for height, they've become a bit heavier.
Of course, they have become a bit taller too, so that equates to a lot heavier.
For example, Wladimir Klitschko is a lot heavier than Rocky Marciano.
