exactly, it wouldn't make sense for a weight class with a 25lb gap not to hold elite fighters. it has the potential to be the one of the deepest. :thumbsup

No one cared about CW when Evander Holyfield, Steve Cunningham, Tommy Hearns, Virgil Hill or James Toney were in the division and they're all well known and very skilled Americans. I have no idea why it gets neglected but I doubt it's because there aren't enough Americans.

I thought he beat Povetkin, but also remember him getting obliterated by Steve Cunningham and getting a gift against Arslan. These guys are world level but none are elite imo

If I only looked at boxrec I would assume Huck beat Arslan clearly twice.

I don't consider Huck elite, if that means I know nothing about the division then so be it.

it;s a pity this division gets almost no attention in the US, you'd have thought that Adamek-USS I would get the casual US fans interested in CW, but apparently not

The division has been in shambles since Haye left it.

I like the CW division, but it's quite a European division.
There is a lot of talent in there, for instant our neighhbours to the South (Belgium) have 3 up and coming fighters. Laggoune (EBU Champion), Ngabu and Merhy.
With the Polish and the Russian fighters there are a lot of good match-ups that can be made and with Kudryashov and Dorticos there are some KO artist.
The only pity is there are zero to none good American fighters.

a large majority of americans can't even name one active boxer.
