Why does the general public hate Floyd Mayweather?

    You can throw a lot of reasosns into the mix, but lately he's ducked Pac for one of the biggest fights in boxing history, he's been throwing around cash like a moron, cheap shotted his way to victory, cussed out an old man on international TV, and now gets put away for beating on a woman. It's like he's doing his damnest to become the most disliked athlete on Earth. Move over O.J., here comes Mayweather to assume the mantle. :yep

    I root against him every time he fights. That's as far as my hatred goes. When he wins, I don't discredit him at all.

    Wow so you have no problem of somebody beating his gf/wife:patschthat right there is one of the reason the public hates on him. I don't give a **** who it is, if pacman beat up his wife i would ****ing hate on him too:deal

    Im sorry. Nobody knows Floyd while O.J. was a household name.

    If he stormed a seminary and started sodomizing nuns I dont think they'd stop the NBA Finals to bring that news.

    according to his fans, it was scripted and he was trying to sell fights? so don't get mad if floyd's acting has made people turn on him.
