Why does the general public hate Floyd Mayweather?

It's not "just a character".. "characters" don't get sentenced for domestic disputes.

 

People did, and do. They may be popular, but they did have their fair share of haters.

 

He's a ****, lets be honest.

 

He's an arrogant, stupid, cocky ***** who beats his wife and is pretty much a career criminal.

If it was a movie, Floyd would fight for the Cobra Kai, and Pacquiao is Mr Miyagi's protege'.

It's the way he conducts himself.

We're often reminded of his charity work when his character is bought into the spotlight around here and the fact that he doesn't like to advertise that part of his life. The problem is he should probably highlight that part and not so much the youtube videos' on racist homophobic rants or beating his ex and threatening his kids.

It's disapointing to many because he is the best, but not as many people want to support the bad guy - generally speaking - as they do a more down to earth, humble character.

I LOVE watching him fight, but I cringe most of the time when he speaks.

 

I fail to see how people don't get this. If you can't see that floyd is a ****, chances are high you're one yourself. And if you're a ****, it doesn't matter what colour your skin is, you will get hate (see: Roger Clemens). It's what he's built his financial empire on and made millions from, so why the **** would anyone feel sympathy for him?

 

That's what he wants to be, a smart move to stay relevant.
