Why does the s6 winner have to face Direll?

    I like direll as a fighter and feel people have been very harsh on him, however he doesnt deserve to be the mandatory for the s6 title.
    They either should have a chance for an easy opponent while kesslser/stieglitz winner faces direl/bute the winner of that fight deserves to fight ward/froch late next year.
    I feel something like that should happen rather than give the inactive direll a shot.

    Where did you read that? I'm pretty sure Showtime is looking for winner vs. Bute.

    ........ realize my mistake now, its anthony they have to face next rather than andre.

    Yeah, Anthony Dirrel just beat St Juste for the mandatory vs Ward, but since Ward and Froch have both put their belts on the line in this tounrament, it will be the winner who has Dirrel as their mandatory.

    Surely he would take 100K step aside $$$ and a spot on the UC for Bute to get his shot first. I think Dirrel favors his chance vs Bute moreso than Ward, but that just IMO.:think

    I hope so, I wouldnt mind seeing bute fight the winner, It hink both froch and ward beat the younger direll anyway.

    Yeah thats a good fight, the winner of kessler vs stieglitz vs direll then that winner vs bute vs ward-froch.

    I can understand Anthony Dirrell being Ward's (the WBA) mandatory, but the WBC has a saying in there too (Froch's belt).

    Also the "Lennox rule" dictates that in case of multiple titles the time to face the mandatory is prolonged.

    Super6 winner vs Bute (IBF), winner fights Kessler (WBO if he beats the Stieg) for the Undisputed Super Middleweight Super Championship :ibutt
    That's how it should be! :deal

    And after that the one left standing can make his defences against challengers like Dirrell etc.

    Terrible to watch and is one of the biggest bitches in the sport. Bute will get the winner. Direll doesn't even deserve the loser. IMO Kessler will fight the loser.
