They tried to cheat Fury so hard in that fight.

    Fury sonned him.

GGG would school both of them on the same night. Clearly.

He doesn't get enough credit because when the torch is passed it's sometimes done in spectacular style, but in his case it was a boring UD.
He comfortably out boxed Wlad though and deserves a lot of credit.

There seems to be a lot of revisionism going on about the first fight. It was a sloppy, close boring fight where neither guy threw or landed much of anything. Fury landed 7 punches to Wlad's 4 per round. I had the same scorecard as the press row scorer for BE at 114-113 Fury. The Independent had it as a draw which can be argued as well.

Maybe you didn't know this but 7 is a higher number then 4

The shots Fury landed were also better then wlad's

Your scorecard does not match the majority consensus

I wouldn't believe a single word the independent printed

Not true. Most of what Fury landed were pitter patter shots and rabbit punches.

Actually rewatched the fight the other nite. Dont think the average boxing fan realised how great a performance fury pulled off. His jab was tremendous. Movement although clumsy at times was also tremendous as well as his feighnting. It really put klitchko off his game.

Also although not really a boxing skill his whole demeanor was spot on for it. Kept calm throughout seemed like he difuse klitchko with it a bit.

If fury can keep that level of performance up he ll beat joshua easy.

However you never really know what to expect with him. But his klitchko performance would beat anyone around at the moment for me

1- 10-2 isn't close. And it's debatable wlad even won two rounds.

Compare their faces after. That wasn't close. At all.

2- Also, by all accounts including wladimir himself, they took Tyson EXTREMELY seriously, Wlad called a record high number of sparring partners in camp. Steward predicted years ago Tyson would become champion, Wladimir ducked him even when he was mandatory.

If he didn't take Tyson seriously, tell me, why would he bother wearing 2-inches lifts? He was taller than vitali at the weigh in. For **** and giggles? Sure, if you say so. Why did he bother cheating the ring, with layers upon layers of foam?

Oh but he wasn't aware of it, right? C'mon. If he wasn't taking it seriously, why the heck did what he never did in all of his career, headbutting as deliberately as prime Holyfield? to entertain, i guess? Why was the ref seemingly blind to all that? For **** and giggles, again?

C'mon. Tyson dominated a very fit and prepared Wlad, and he did it all by skills.

Fury deserves full credit for his win of Wlad! I don't think it's a matter of him not getting credit, he's just not talked about much it seems.

Because fury is a nutter .he winds people up and will not fit into stereotypes of what a boxer should be like.lots of guys on this forum are big fans of vlad and have convinced themselves that vlad had a bad night his missus was ill he was ill etc etc etc this is not the case fury beat vlad without getting out of second gear this meant a rather dull fight as Vlad was totally lost and surrendered his titles with a whimper.I expect a rerun in the rematch with vlad retiring after .

I think that Fury is so unlike-able to a lot of people that they simply do not want him to do well and don't go out of there way to give him credit when he does. That's the way life is, and that's fine.

If someone you absolutely loath won a big sporting event you may find yourself being reluctant to praise him for it.

I can totally understand why anyone who is female, gay, Jewish or has any sort of decent morality would be hesitant to heap praise on Tyson Fury for throwing 12 punches a round against a 40 year old formerly great champion.

Not enough credit...He gets TOO much credit for beating a 40 y/o man who didn't respect his abilities. Joshua, Wilder and Ortiz sends Fury to the hospital on a stretcher. He simply isn't that good. Hell cruiserweights have put Fury on the ground. What happens when he faces someone with power who aren't afraid to let their hands go like Wlad was? He gets sparked out cold.

Jennings almost beat Wlad and he is basically a cruiserweight. Fury isn't a top 3 heavyweight. His win wasn't anywhere near as his slurpers want to make it out to be.
