Why Does Tyson Fury's Drugs Ban Get Overlooked?

Yep. Even the self appointed anti drug crusader Tony Bellew himself idolises Holyfield and Jones Jr when they are evident drug users.

 

Most causal fans think he was just done for the cocaine.

For journalists there's no obvious motivation to pursue it. UKAD closed the case, and there's virtually no chance of it being reopened. A journo could run an article (if it got past the editor) about how the explanation sounds like a steaming pile of (boar)****, but what's the point? There's nothing much to gain, and potentially a lot to lose.

People can draw their own conclusions on Fury's wild boar, in the same way they can Chris Froome's inhaler, Mo Farah's doorbell, Serena Williams' panic room, Roy Jones' ripped fuel, and endless other incidents that didn't really go anywhere. However, if they want to stick their head above the parapet and pursue it in the mainstream media, they better have some hard evidence and a red-hot team of lawyers behind them, as well as being prepared to deal with whatever crap comes their way.

 

You have to think of the narrative. Depression, homosexuality, animal lover, transgender, etc..... All excuse you from such acts as drug cheating and murder. The snowflakes love a good heartfelt confession.

Personally for me Fury both Tyson and Hughie will have an asterisk by their name forever. Tyson’s a brilliant boxer but morally he cheated and for that it can’t be forgiven

 

Fury promised the truth would eventually come out... but the real truth is that he accepted a backdated 2 year ban for using PEDS and also for refusing testing then simply resumed his career after a self imposed retirement as if it never happened.

 

He’s human - he’s also Giving something back to society - so as far as karma goes - that’s a draw ... anyway, gotta go, apparently there’s some ‘cute girls waiting for me’

 

Good question. Both Tyson Fury and Hughie Fury failed tests for the same substance. They didn’t even serve a ban from memory.
