Why does Valuev also get matched up against small quick guys?

Valuev's opponents are always small quick guys like Chagaev, Holyfield, Donald, Ruiz, and now Haye. This makes for fights which are not only boring but very difficult to score. Valuev misses with the jab and then gets hit with 3 or 4 A-Bombs to the face which he doesn't even seem to feel at all, for 12 rounds.

Remember the last time someone came and tried to slug with Valuev (Lyakhovich)? That turned out to be an entertaining fight. Valuev should be fighting punchers like Tua, Peter, Arreola, Briggs, Brewster, Golota, Whitaker.

Bergeron and Donald are not brawlers. Valuev would have KO'd McCline if it weren't for McCline's knee injury.

No, he didn't. It's debatable whether Valuev really won that fight, but he was by no means ever hurt by Bergeron. Valuev has never been hurt or stunned by a punch from anyone to my knowledge. He needs an opponent who will stand and trade punches.

I would love to see a 6'7'' Klitschko in the ring against 7'1'' Valuev. First time the Klitschko would be the smaller one.

BTW, anybody knows how find a sparring partner for a fight against Valuev? Ask former ATG basketballers? :hey

McCline was winning the fight against Valuev before the injury. then again McCline was winning a lot of fights in the early rounds over the course of his career that he managed to find a way to lose.

I think Julius Long is popular for this assignment, or shorter fighter that stands on a small box. It works since Valuev fights standing in 1 place all night.
