Why does Vitali get a pass despite being a proven drugs cheat?

It's blatantly obvious Vitali is on a heavy diet of steroids and HGH. It is otherwise physiologically impossible to not become a fat **** by the age of 40.

Leg injury.......torn hamstring and strained achilles tendon result in a DOCTOR prescribing the drug. Vitali took nearly 4 months off, but the drug would still be in his system so he asked to withdraw from competition. His teamates were feeling let down, knowing Vitali was their best SHW, but rather than allowing him to simply withdraw, they pressured him into trying to take and pass the test, WHICH as your FACT states, he did NOT PASS.

The injury healed as the drug served it's purpose and Vitali stopped using it more than 3 weeks before testing. However, the OSDT tested for use of the particular drug up to 6 weeks prior. Hence, he KNEW he would fail.

However, having taken dozens of tests since, Vitali has NEVER again tested postive, and while I do NOT think he has completely refrained from using steroids as medical treatment he has wisely veered away from instances which would lead people to consider him using them in a performance enhancing nature.

IMO, he must have used medroxyprednisolone, AGAIN, after the torn rotator, and similarly, he surely used the same drug to recover from his back injury which prompted his retirement from the sport.:deal

    :deal

Its perfectly normal for heavyweights to reach their physical peak & look in career best shape in their early forties, happens all the time.

take 90 % of any human being and look at a picture of them 10-15 years ago....they change, get bigger, especially athletes..its their jobs to work out and improve...unless you are the average heavyweight slob which the average is now the norm

Here we go, a guy with Vitali in his avatar starts spewing out the excuses . . .

While you're here, my recently deceased client left $25million in their bank account. If you're prepared to stand as the next of kin, you can inherit the money and split it down the middle.

All I need is your copy of your passport and your bank account details. You in?

for me it's like almost everybody in pro sport cheat one way or another. And it's bad ,m'kay?

Only some are caught, some not. Then those caught are called cheaters, m'kay? But for me that's ok, m'kay?

Cheatig is bad, m'kay? I'm 100% serious. It's a shame that we happen to live in times when ppl cheat in sport.

Those who are caught should be definitely punished. Maybe not banned but there should be more of a punishment than like 100k$ and few months.

But I don't thing any restrictions would stop sportsmen from cheating.

Maybe instead of that we'd make 2 leagues. One for cheaters, where steroids are legal, but the should admit what they use. And the other for 'clean' ones?

That's not my idea. I think I've read it somewhere

Actually, after giving it some serious thought, I'm finding it hard to defend Vitali on this one. I'm a fan of the guy, but steroids in this sport is a serious thing.

I've made threads about this before, Vitali is one of a few steroid cheats but his nuthugging fans will never accept that their hero was (and maybe still is) juised to his eyeballs just like James Toney, Fernando Vargas, Roy Jones and Shane Mosley and though the suspicion is strong with Holyfield to my knowledge he has never tested positive so i'll withold judgment (though I heard Tyson suffered from side effects of a nandrolone overdose after he bit Holy's ear so I guess it shows you what was going on)

What has that got to do with Vitali being a disgraceful steroid cheat?
