Why does Ward use GGG's name but duck him when pressured to fight?

HBO round table...Ward asked for meeting..HBO said what up*...u guys wanna fight? GGG said yes why not...Ward waffled and said no...

Ever since that day Ward has been in Hell....

 

Let's be real, neither of these guys or their teams went into negotiations completely sincerely or wholeheartedly. They are a weight class apart and the risk/reward on both sides is too great.

Ward and his team KNEW that they weren't getting GGG at 168, GGG and his team KNEW that a 164 fight offer would be rejected.

Ward should in general keep his mouth shut until he's prepared to get in the ring again though.
