I stand corrected... he was number 3. But if you don't rate him that's fine. But he did not get bullied in the AJ fight.. he got knocked out plain and simple. We have very opposing views on what bullying actually means. I can give plenty of examples of a fight where a fighter was bullied. Dillian has never been bullied... in fact... I doubt he ever wiil be. Gives as good as he gets. Anyways December and April... Dillian will continue to be successful.
we'll agree to disagree then, because i will never see AJ/Whyte as a highly competitive fight where Whyte had AJ on the backfoot.
Love using this video to the AJ fanboy's. Eddie always says AJ is the boss and he decides who he fights, and on this video he says AJ wants Whyte over Wilder. Imagine if Finkel said Wilder would rather have Breazeale than Joshua! As for Dillian, he's the most self entitled boxer there is. He thinks he's a superstar. It took ages to make the rematch with Chisora because he was offering Chisora 25%. He shat the bed from the real King Kong and Pulev yet always goes on about these guys ducking him. He even claims Povetkin ducked him because he called out Povetkin after Joshua/Parker knowing that Pov would be facing AJ next. Can't stand him. He gets more respect that he deserves. Most fans (casual's) think he is the boogeyman of the division
Its hard going getting respect from the boxing fraternity nowadays. Whyte doesn't help himself with his chat....but his CV,s been solid for the last few years. Helenius, Browne, Joshua, chisora twice, parker. Is a very good run of fights. He's also proven he's there to give it his all. I say if he beats chisora...he deserves his shot. He's been more active than most plus stick him in the ring with joshua....he won't sit back and take a beating without going for it. He was pretty much the first man that believed he could beat Joshua....everyone else till that point folded without giving him anything to think about. Whyte troubled him. And could have got him out of there if his shoulder never went. Good reach etc. He,ll be a decent challenger. Unlike Molina even parker etc. Who just came to sit back. Its not a wilder fight but there's not really all that much out there ready to challenge. Povetkin was a decent challenger tbf.
The end of round 2 and round 3 were the only time Whyte had any real success, for the rest of the fight he was beaten up, outclassed and knocked out.
I give Whyte respect for fighting Chisora again , it's a high risk fight for him and if I was advising him I would have told him to swerve it and wait for a shot at AJ. As far as ability is concerned Dillian he is tough and game but not exactly a stylist . Should he beat Chisora and get a crack at AJ it would be naive to think he had no chance but apart from landing a big shot on AJ's chin I see a painful night for Dillian .
Whyte is an awful night for anyone. 18 stone, 6”4, huge heart and will do whatever it takes to win including spoiling tactics when he has to. He can hold that centre of the ring and throw out a good, hurtful jab. He’s shown that if he can land that hook he has the power to stop an opponent, so that gives him a chance against anyone. He has really poor footwork though, his balance is dreadful at times and he’s guilty of falling in after throwing a shot. If he fights at a high pace, he can barely do the 12 rounds. He isn’t elusive and he is poor at cutting the ring off against an opponent who fights on the backfoot. I personally think he’s going to have a career similar to Chisora in the sense that he just falls short against the title holders but his come to fight style will gain him plenty of fans. He’s an excellent addition to the heavyweight scene if he’s matched well. He deserves respect.
If he was a bully would he choose to fight a Chisora who he could have lost to, for now real benefit when he could easily wait around for Joshua and feel hard done to that he didn’t get the Wilder fight.
People poo pooing the win against dog turd Browne. All these boxing genius’ on here were totally split about who would win that pathetic fat arl man Browne vs Whyte fight.... just saying.
Well you probably should have gone to specsavers... the fight is on youtube you know.... its free to watch... Try again. Its a shame I cant find punch stats
I agree with this, he certainly has his floors but people don’t give him anywhere near enough credit. I think it comes down to everyone’s flags being firmly nailed to golden boy’s mast. Other than Klitschko I’d say Whyte is already above Chisora in my books. Whyte always brings it u like Chisora’s several pathetic performances.
Or both fighters have flaws. People, myself included are all willing to talk about the lacking characteristics Fury and Wilder have; why should anyone be immune to criticism and concern? It's a forum for debate after all, not a matter of a lack of respect. Not every fighter will have 10/10 100% attributes in every department and that is why boxing is fascinating and we're here.
