Why does Wilder get so much credit for the 3rd Fury fight ?

Same weight, not same shape. Fury looked to have more muscle, less fat in Wilder 1.
Fury's neck and face looked very thin to me. I wouldn't be surprised if he took some weight loss meds in order to appear fitter.

Its clear that Fury was worse in the ring vs Ngannou than vs Wilder in the 3rd fight. He set up a fight 6 weeks after the Ngannou fight. No one does this, especially for an Undisputed Championship fight.

Also, Wilder clearly hurt Fury more with the knockdown than Ngannou did.

Also it helps that the Fury vs Wilder 3 fight was great and the Fury vs Ngannou fight was considered terrible

    Joshua fans going out sad.

They want Joshua to get credit for "heart" for the Ruiz quit job, and want to detract from Wilder.

This has absolutely nothing to do with Joshua ? I think you need stop thinking about Joshua for 1 day it's not healthy.

The only Heavyweights I root for are Usyk, Parker, Zhang, the others i couldn't care who wins or loses Joshua included.

For the viewers, and for Fury's career.
Wilder is someone who "constantly" knocked Fury down.
Some found it exciting because of the boxing itself, but IMHO a good portion of boxing fans wanted to see Fury knocked out, because of Fury's behavior throughout his career.
Another reason is that Wilder showed that he has heart and really gave it his all; he suffered a terrible beating.

That's my fault. Usually the Fury haters who make terrible threads like this are Joshua fans.

Your question is why does a guy who said he'd go out on his shield and then did so in emphatic fashion get...credit for heart? Am I reading that right? I guess I don't need to add anything other folks in this thread haven't told you.

Well it was a HW title fight where both fighters got knocked down. Theres also the fact that no one wanted to see this fight and Wilder believed in himself to the point he sued to make this fight happen. And for it be a classic really vindicated Wilder.

In terms of Wilder as a fighter he was down a knockdown and rallied right away. He showed the 1st fight wasn't a fluke and despite the L solidified the result of Wilder v Fury I.

The point is Wilder gets highly credited for his performance vs Fury where as Ngannou's performance is considered a fluke because Fury was out of shape.

So my arguement is if Wilder gets credit against an out of shape Fury then Ngannou's performance should also be highly praised because they both fought an out of shape Fury except Ngannou was more competitive.
