Dustin Nichols punched as hard as he did, because he had several multinational fast food corporations behind him like McDonalds, Taco Bell, and KFC. He was doing it for them.
A combination of physical strength (yes it does play a role) and technique/leverage it’s strange how someone as big as fury is has no more power than he does That shows that there’s more to “knock out power” than size and muscular development
Wilder doesn't hit that hard. Wilder fights bums, and that's what makes him look good. If he beat top 10 guys consistently, or all time greats, knocking them all out, then we can say he hits hard. But when you have 40 bums on your record and you can't KO Stiverne in the fight fight or Fury who was 3 years off the couch, you are not the hardest hitter of all time, you are just matched properly to look like it. Similar to Tyson when he was KOing guys within a minute or two, then when he fought better opposition, he couldn't KO anybody hahah.
Wilder might have many technical flaws, yet when punching he a has balanced stand and great leverage... add to that the mass and acceleration of punches to impact.... and you get a hammer!
He wouldn't get away with that kind of careless offensive if he fought proper opposition. They'd counter him each and every time.
