Wilder doesn't have to fight Whyte if he doesn't want to. However it's pretty dumb to not want to. I don't under understand why Wilder fans don't want to see it. If Hearn wants AJ to fight Miller to build his US profile then the Wilder fight isn't happening next no matter how bad Wilder wants it. Just fight Whyte for a big check and increase the pay you'll get for fighting AJ. On top of it you fight an entertaining matchup that is going to happen in the future anyway and it's more interesting before you beat AJ than it is afterwards.
It really is a win win for Wilder. How can Wilder fanboys not see that? Especially how they gloat Wilder knocks him out in 2 rounds! 4$ million for 2 rounds worth of work?
Hearns approach to this is to maximise the potential revenue from 2 mega fights for AJ. Fighting Wilder first would be an error because Wilder could Ice AJ and end big money PPV fights for AJ against Tyson Fury and others. If he keeps Wilder busy then that allows him to put AJ with Tyson Fury, who poses no physical threat and in a worst case scenario would only be a UD loss. So in the worst case of AJ getting ICED by Wilder and dropping a UD loss to Fury, there is far more money if he faced Fury first and drops the UD loss. Getting ICED by Wilder would put other pay days on Ice. Whyte doesnt matter to Hearn. He plans to feed him to Wilder so his prized PPV fighter can maximise money and delay the high risk fighter. Wilder might be a terrible boxer and might lose most rounds against a top 10 HW but he has that knock out power that ends fights. He is also a lot cleverer in finding that KO punch than many give him credit for.
Joshua and Hearn run the Heavyweight division, Wilder better get his ***** ass in line and do as hes told. HE WILL FIGHT WHYTE BEFORE JOSHUA HE WILL TAKE 35% AGAINST JOSHUA LIKE THE LIL ***** HE IS
I'm confused...If Wilder is as great as some believe, why are there so many Wilder fans trying to push a pass to fight Whyte? Seriously. Whyte is a B level heavy, if Wilder is half of what he made out to be, he disposes of Whyte in 3 rounds and gets a career high payday? Personally, I would call Whyte/Wilder a 50/50 fight, with Whyte having a very good chance of an upset. That, I believe is the reason for all of these 'Why does Wilder have to fight Whyte' threads.
Nah fans are turning on team Joshua and Hearn. There’s ducking and it’s evident. If I was wilder I would say me next or get ranked 1 by WBC otherwise you’ll never become undisputed. Please tell Hearn and Joshua to stop ducking it’s pathetic. Wilder doesn’t even have boxing technique.
Feed Whyte to big Joe Joyce if Donkey is going to keep on cluckin' and a duckin' him. Joyce was 0-0-0 when he whooped Ian Lewison worse than an 18-1 Whyte did and Chisora (who beat Whyte in my not so humble opinion) is ducking Joyce like he has leprosy, so why not make Whyte vs Joyce and then when Joyce has paddled his ass and taken Whyte's mandatory spot on the WBC rankings Donkey can get that work too. And then after Joyce has sparked Donkey out we can have an all British affair between him and AJ for all the marbles at Wembley in front of 90,000. Simples. Big Joe Joyce undisputed HW champ 2020. @ facts
I remember when British fans accused the klitschkos of being a tag team now it's looking very hypocritical
I guess you should tell fast Eddie to make the fight and stop trying to duck. I mean when Floyd told manny to go fight someone else before he would give him a shot people almost **** themselves on this board. They said Floyd was ducking but now it’s not ducking by AJ. GTFOH Hearn and Joshua ducking a guy they said they would knock out inside of 3 rounds a guy they said has no real boxing technique, a guy they said is straight up and down and an easier fight than parker.
why would we assume Parker and Joshua would need a rematch why not make whyte wait til after a unification wilder and Joshua fight 2 or 3 weeks apart and will be ready for the same time there's no reason they need to prolong the only super fight in the division
People rate Whyte a bit high due to obvious recent circumstances. This is the closest Wilder will get to an easy payday if he can't yet cash out with AJ. It makes all the sense in the world financially for all parts involved. WBC, long term promotion and exposure for their careers, and a multiplier on the purses compared to potential other opponents for the two. If Whyte can fill the O2 against Browne this fight can fill Wembley. It really is a no brainer for all parts involved.
