I didn’t assume a rematch, I said it depended upon the fights competitiveness, i.e. if it’s a close fought classic they’ll be a huge demand and an almost moral if not legal obligation for a rematch, I’ll be surprised if it isn’t in the contract. They will have fought 29 days apart that almost a full calendar month, also do you really think that either Wilder or Joshua will go into a fight with each other with anything less than a full training camp after and after long rest.
Wilder didn't want no part of Whyte for $4 million before the Browne fight. He won't want to Whyte unless he has to after Sat night. To dangerous. He wants the AJ cash out fight, and a loss will scupper that.
He doesn't need to fight Whyte. If Whyte some how becomes mandatory then he will have to fight him. I wouldn't be surprised if Hearn asks the WBC to forget Breazeale or put him on stand by and go straight to Wilder. And you know that they want the fight to go to a purse bid just to get Wilder in the UK. It's rattish but the UK has never had this much media attention before lol...
The new talk is Wilder didn't want to fight Whyte, lmao. Joshua's dick blowers are grasping at straws with that one lol lol, and reaching out to Wilder's fans like Whyte is somebody. Hilarious!
Why would he not want to fight Whyte? Is he chicken? I thought thats what big time Boxers did, fought other big time Boxers. Joshua has fought Whyte, Whyte is highly ranked. What exactly is wrong with him as an apponent?
Whyte isn't a big time boxer. He's just a ****en bum who beat up on another bum. ****en bum ass. Lol...
Bang on the money. It seems that the only people who have a problem with fight are 'fans' like Blizzy. Those who genuinely believe AJ is 'ducking' Wilder. Pro's for Wilder: • Career high payday • In his own eyes, a B grade heavyweight - so, in reality an easy fight? • An opponent that once beaten, ensures a fight with AJ for the mega money. • Builds his fan base with the UK viewers • Makes his name more known around the world (I'm from NZ and few people outside of die hard boxing fans know who Wilder is - On the flipside, everyone knows who AJ is) Con's: • Could be beaten by Whyte and loses his shot against AJ • If beaten, loses the mega money.
Browne is better than all of Wilder's opponents outside of Ortiz and Stiverne (the first time). His bogus resume is littered with more tomato cans than an abandoned soup factory!
It's being forced because it would be convenient for AJ and Hearn. AJ wants the Whyte rematch. Whyte wants belts and the rematch. Hearn can satisfy everyone by having Whyte win a title to justify the rematch, or having Whyte lose big. And Whyte is ****ing terrible and has zero chance against Wilder. Even if you for some reason think he's okay, he's nowhere near Ortiz. Wilder/Whyte is a stupid, waste of time fight. I wanted the Ortiz/Wilder fight because that was a good ****ing fight. Wilder/Whyte is not.
Wilder would make twice as much as his biggest pay day against Whyte, Whyte is near enough his mandatory whilst holding the Silver belt, Whyte has only lost once and is on a good winning streak. Regardless of whether or not you class him as a bum he is a big time Boxer, bigger than Wilder so it seems. If you think Wilder should be dismissing people like Dillian Whyte and his standing in the division then who the hell are you expecting Wilder to fight the rest of his career? Joshua over and over and over again?
And yeah, Wilder is totally "ducking" and "afraid of" Whyte while he's taunting and calling out AJ. While Wilder is openly saying he'll accept fairly reasonable purse splits in favor of AJ. While Wilder is traveling to the AJ/Parker stadium to call out AJ in person. Do you still think Wilder isn't serious about fighting AJ? Then why was AJ threatening Wilder with refusing to fight him? Certainly looks like AJ believes Wilder wants the fight...
Fair opinion. But you don't, as a fighter, avoid the biggest payday because you think the fans deserve a "better match-up" when the pay is half or (probably here) even less if you fight what in your eyes is a better opponent. That makes no sense. Don't kid yourselves, the casuals will gobble this fight up. This is a good fight for Wilder to make with where he is at in his career.
Technically he doesn't. But if Wilder's next fight isn't AJ and he fights someone else people will wonder why he did take what is clearly his next most lucrative option. Problem Wilder has is he isn't in control of his career. Even if he wants the Whyte fight and the record payday that comes with it, if Haymon doesn't want it then there's not much Wilder can do but sit back and be labelled a ducker.
Okay. So Wilder gets **** all his career for bad fights. Now Wilder is getting unending **** for not wanting another bad fight. Yeah. That seems reasonable.
