For never moving up? He will 33 in a few weeks. Even worse he doesn’t get much flak for his weak resume.

Great question, especially since it’s his supporters that usually talk down Crawford for not doing anything even though he’s in his third division, undisputed in one.

Hopefully he doesn’t move up till after the Crawford fight happens, though.

Spence fans have been claiming he will eventually move to MW ever since he beat Brook. But none of them will call him out for not moving up.

Spence is a great fighter but a lot of his best wins are smoke and mirrors.
Kell Brook was compromised, Porter already beaten by Thurman and Brook yet Spence had a harder time with Porter than both of them. Blown up Mikey Garcia, Danny Garcia was already past it and Ugas was really a nobody who got a win over a very old Pacquiao. Don't get me wrong they are all still good wins but hardly a ATG resume.

I never thought he had the size to move up. He’s not a small welter, but he’s not as big as people make out. That’s why I laughed at suggestions he would take canelo.
He is still the best welterweight in the world.

There was a time i recall where not a few but many all over thought he would beat down Canelo, but after the Porter fight they all seemed to dissipate & the rest went very quiet haha.

Spence issue is what a lot of these new fighters problem they get they eyes set in one fight and sit around stalling they career, add in the injuries and you get what you get. Personally I don’t think he should sit around waiting for bud to man up and as a Spence fan unless he fights fundora next or something like that it’s really nothing he can do that interests me at welter

Because Spence is not really relevant, except for crashing his car he haven’t done anything interesting since beating Brook.

I like him and I wish we saw more of him but his career is too disappointing (lack of fights) to really care…

I still want to see Errol Spence vs Terrence (Bud) Crawford at 147 lbs for all the marbles.

hes a bum i been saying this for 10 years, his 2 best wins are 126 pounder mikey garcia (who he couldn't put a dent in) and a washed up danny garcia

    Forgot about the fight altogether,

I bet if it gets announced tomorrow that people will get re excited for all of it though,

It's one of the reasons both of them have been dicking around knowing the fans will pay for it whenever they say go.

True. Because we may never see Fury vs Usyk but a boring rematch between Fury vs Wilder. It will make for a good sleeping aid, why can't they forget about each other already?
