Prescott doesnt mean much eventhough khan beats him easily!
Of course it will help khan get his revenge, but what does that actually mean?
I still feel if khan beats him, he will still have that same feeling of when prescott ko'd him, a win over prescott will feel better only to a certain extent because its really hard to forget about the past and just let that go espec if its been haunting you for years.
Of course we will like to see khan ortiz, but this is boxing and what the fans want the fans wont get, because GBP will ensure as that.
Peterson khan therefore makes more sense! Or perhaps katsidis or guzman

If I was khan I would definitely face prescott, If I think im really good and that guy got lucky, I would definitely beat the **** out of him just for causing all that laugh at me for some years. Him losing his last fights is even better just give him a 80/20 split, marketing the hell out of the fight train hard beat this guy up carry him untill the 8 and knock him out cold. Then when that demon is gone face alexander/bradley winner and continue the legacy and big pay days. Peterson is just another decent guy at 140. If lennox had not destroyed mccall or rahman people would think they had his number, him destroying them made them lucky and not many talk down o lennox because of it.

The British public has already seen Prescott schooled by Kevin Mitchell! The same Kevin Mitchell who the British public watched get brutally outclassed and outgunned by Michael Katsidis.

The problem will lennox was, that he faced them in a rematch straight away and they were in good form, so it meant and proved alot with lewis and he needed those fights to excel in his career.
With khan its just personal issues, also the fight doesnt mean nothing for his career, and it wont stop these haters questioning his chin because he can beat prescott/ko him/ humiliate him but nothing will change the fact that he ko'd khan in 1 round and if khan believes he can get rid of that demon by beating him he should, but i dont think itl be that easy. Tbh i believe khan is better than that and should beat all the top lightwelters out there, and the best he can fight is lamont or guzman that fight next makes more sense!

Maybe your right, he should stand above it. Im just thinking that if I was in khans place I would definitely beat prescott up. Guys like peterson come and go at 140.
I think it would help khan mentaly, I notice tht he wants to prove people he has a chin becaue everyone always talks about it. If it will actaully help his rep. probably not in the way he might think but for him personal it could be a relief.
In the end I dont mind him facing up with peterson, I will still watch it, just that in his place I would beat prescott.

Thats why i feel sorry for peterson, he wont get that break and will always be known as one of those guys all the top fighters beat.
Khan recently said on twitter that prescott was a bum and he didnt need him anymore so im sure that fight wont happen and mentally khan seems to be dealing with it fine in the ring!
He should technically be fighting ortiz but we all know we wont see that

How can Khan be scared of Presscot when he already beat a stronger version of Presscot in Maidana

If prescott had beaten ortiz or will beat khan then we cant deny him in my opinion. He will get full credit and nicer match ups. If he loses then yes he will end up in that category.
Ortiz might happen later if ortiz makes himself a big star, I get goldenboy on that one.
The twitter thing is why its annoying seems to me like he is convincing himself that he is over prescott. He talks bit about prescott yet doesnt face him, there are more mature ways of dealing with that situation.
I think it still botters him. But petersonfight is already pretty much done right? that makes the discussion end I guess, after this fight he will move on to bigger things with bradley/alexander maybe 147. Prescott will probably fall deeper, so guess the window is as good as closed on that fight.

Not so sure what it would prove at this stage. Khan is now a different fighter wheras Prescott has gone on and lost to Kevin Mitchell. Other than redemption for the loss, I can't see that it's a good move for Khan, especially as he's probably just beaten a better fighter in Maidana.

Of a man Kevin Mitchell beat so easily?

You're stuck in 2008 bro, this is 2011

Prescott's stock's gone WAY down since then.

    Stupid fight.

And Peterson (Khans next opponent) would outclass and beat Prescott as well.

    It would.

Peterson is a better fighter than Prescott in every way apart from punching power.

And Khan has already fought and beat a bigger hitter in Maidana.

    It's a pointless fight.

The only one afraid here is you NHJ, afraid of the reality that the majority of posters believe a Prescott fight would only be a waste of time considering his next two fights would be against two of the top 10 fighters in the 140lb division.

But if it makes you or Zakman or anyone else feel any better about yourselves by saying he's still afraid, I won't stop you. Let's call it Post-Maidana therapy for you guys :rofl
