Because Breidis Prescott sucks. He just went out and beat Marcos Maidana, who's a bigger puncher than Prescott and way the hell better. Rematching Prescott would prove nothing.

Why doesn't Humberto Soto try avenging his loss to 12-17 Angel Eduardo Mata?

As much as Zakman or NHJ will try to deny it, in their hearts they know its a dead issue, but they keep making fools of themselves.

Talking flak about Khan is the only lifeline Prescott's career has left after losing to two good opponents in a row and then winning against two unknown bums.

If Prescott impresses in Mitchell/Prescott II, then maybe he has a chance, but until then he's well on his way to going down in history like Medgoen Singsurat: A nobody who got lucky against an opponent who went on to become a world champion.

I'm American, I was just really exposed to Khan by HBO when he fought Paulie. B/c I follow boxing I was aware of who he was in the AMS, beating The Cuban Kindelan in the World Championships after losing to him in the Olympics.

Khan has a great story, He got knocked out by Prescott in a minute regrouped, got a worldclass team behind him and became a titlist. I would figure the next part of this story is avenging the Knock out defeat that they show highlights of when telling his story. Regardless of where YOU feel Presscot is at in his career, The fight makes sense. It's not a fight I'm dying for but I don't understand why some are so against it.

I am more than aware of your opinion on the matter Ring Master as I have discussed it with you before.

But allow me to throw your logic right back at you:

Regardless of how much sense YOU believe the fight makes, their records define who they are and what they have accomplished, and I'm glad to see even the American audience now realizing how irrelevant the fight is after the Maidana fight:

It's also a stupid tune up fight to take if you're going to fight Bradley/Alexander next.

This **** makes no sense, it's a high risk-low reward type fight against somebody that isn't even in the top 10 in your division.

Yes we have discussed this before. And let the record show Prescott has a dominating KO win over Khan in less then a minute, which makes the fight relevant, imho.

But where is the pride as a man? As a fighter?... I would be chomping at the bit to knock this guys head off. Especially if he is the bum you guys say he is....He had Amir's mother crying like a baby. Do it for your Mother Amir!!!

I'm not mad at him for the Peterson fight though. That is a good fight, solid comp in Peterson. But Presscot is a grudge match that should happen. I think like Duuude said High risk low reward more so then he is a bum who does not warrant a rematch. If Khan fights the number #1 (Bradley vs Alexander winner) in the Division who can complain

Khan fights Prescott = Prescott was a bum anyway, Amir is cherry-picking fights.

Khan doesn't fight Prescott = Khan is ducking him.

    It's a no-win situation.
