Why doesnt Antonio Margarito hire a lawyer and some private detectives to clear his name

Of course there was no criminal charges because they confiscated those wraps prior to the fight. If those wraps were taken after the fight had already happened, they both would have been given lifetime bans and jail time, better believe that.

But what a coincidence that the wraps from the first Cotto fight had red in the same area as the ones confiscated, meaning they were going to reuse those same pads which is illegal in itself. Everything has to be brand new out of the package, and they knew this and they still went along and tried to use them.. That's a red flag, and points to something scandalous.

 

PeeWee One last chance for you. Weve seen page after page of accusations & suspicions over this ludicrous loaded wraps BS involving Tony Margarito BUT
No one has EVER provided proof of anyone claiming Plaster of paris was actually discovered in any of Margarito's pads or wraps Not minute traces of sulphur & calcium were found by spectrometer testing. but PLASTER OF PARIS WAS FOUND.

Dude a guy posted a direct quote from margs trainer admitting they used a plaster wrapbut claimed they use it in training to protect the hand (iv never seen this done anywhere else) and the old pad must have been missplaced and then USED to wrap margs hands with.

Just watch the fight with Sergio Mora. Then the fight with Mayweather when he had to be clean He gassed in 3 rounds was PATHETIC!! Against Tony he was non stop action boundless energy. You'd have to be blind to miss it.
What guy posted a quote from Javier admitting that he used PLASTER ??? Did he have a link to it ?? Or just hearsay ?? I spoke to both Tony & Javier a few times about this BS & never heard Javier admit to anything other than a mistake.

All anyone claimed was " Traces of calcium & sulphur were discovered both of which are indeed ingredients of plaster". BUT What they fail to say is that both are also ingredients of HUMAN SWEAT not to mention HAND CREME. They cannot come out & say they found plaster direct or they'd have to indict him Accuse him in a court of law. They know they haven't got any proof of plaster & they'd he laughed out of court, Really its a shame they didn't indict him Tony's tarnished rep would be repaired & he'd likely have goy a large $$$$$ settlement for their false accusations, That really would have been KARMA !!!!!

Hey PeeWee If it was true that "THEY" confiscated those pads. Why couldn't they EVER produce them. They blatantly refused to EVER let Margarito's rep anywhere near. As a last resort their excuse was " We cannot produce them as they have been Mislaid "!!!!!! ROFL A State Commission LOSES the only evidence they claimed to have to suspend a fighter & accuse him of cheating???

I am not so sure that "assault" would be the proper charge, maybe "aggravated assault", but "intent" is an element in "assault' and "battery" charges and Margarito said that he didn't know that his wraps were loaded and therefore couldn't have the requisite intent.

 

If a good fighter's name hadn't been tarnished & his career ruined al this would be funny. I'd be LMAO @ all of you. To believe the BS posted on here & that the CSAC pr anyone PROVED any PLASTER was ever used you may as well believe every word MVC posts. Both are equally laughable

If Margarito was unaware of his "supposed" illegal wraps then why was he suspended and his license revoked? You can't prosecute a man for assault when he has no intent to assault. If he went into a boxing bout with legal gloves then how could he have committed assault? If he had no idea that his gloves were loaded (this is assuming he even had loaded gloves, which he didn't) then he had no intention of assaulting somebody because he was ignorant to what was really in his gloves. At that point you'd have to solely focus your critique on the man who knowingly wrapped his fighters will illegal wraps.

 

Nobody has ever actually proved that Margarito wrapped his gloves with concrete. Think about for a second. A professional boxer wrapping plaster in his gloves is quite an accusation. You might want to have some evidence to back up a claim like that.
