Start at the point that Olympic testing requires you to be available for testing for nine month not retired. Conte is an expert Salemen and that was all he ever was at Balco. Go and do some homework before you speak instead of quoting a bunch of crackheads. My opinions keep getting shorter because I have become tired of people that don,t do any reseach

Well if you are suggesting that Floyd should be tested while he is not officially retired I agree, again I go back to other sports like tennis and athletics you are required to inform testers every day of the year of your where abouts should they require to spring a test on you, so I dont see why this shouldn't be the case for a combative sport where people's lives are at risk!

But THE MAIN issue is you cannot condemn Mayweather for not being tested while on semi retirement if you are not willing to conceed Manny should be tested when IN COMPETITION and doing incredible things, that is just hypocritical!

As for Conte being ONLY an expert sales man I think we both know that ISNT true, he delivered results! Need I remind you Shane won when he used Conte's product, Marion Jones won! Dwain Chambers won! so obviously he was MORE than just a sales man and you are ONLY saying that to try to discredit him as his opinion supports that of Mayweather. That boxing NEEDS better testing!!!!

Also no where have I quoted any crack head, people like you cannot have a grown up debate and so have to throw insults in the hope to make yourself look better on a forum.

When you have matured and want to have a sensible discussion then come back and discuss it with me until then I prefer if you dont respond to me...

Both Mayweather and Pacquiao were randomly tested a couple of months back...both came back negative.

I very much agree with your whole argument. I have been saying for years that boxing needs to adopt a drug testing policy similar to say athletics. Annual testing for every boxer, not every boxer needs to be tested at least once a year...but the threat of testing will do the sport, and doubters wonders.

I dont think that urine testing is enough imho, urine testing would not have caught all the cyclists who have tested positive for blood transfussions and EPO.

It didnt catch Mario Jones, nor did it catch Shane Mosely.

My thing is Shane was clearly on drugs and the current system DID NOT catch him although he WAS tested. So if the drug test cannot detect a drug user or ONLY detects some drug users it is obviously useless!

Athletics already contains both blood and urine testing does it not?

If not, then I am pretty sure that they are, or already have started implenting blood testing into their policies.

Yes it does, I cant remember if it did when Mario Jones was competing however I do know that due to the findings at BALCO they adjusted their testing and thats how they were able to catch Dwain Chambers (who I once supported)

However boxing made no such adjustment instead complained about the cost!

I don't see how they can complain about cost when they have peoples lives in their hands. Annual testing all round will not up the cost too much. It just puts the thought of testing in the back of boxers heads.

LOL Boxing makes millions and millions the cost isnt the issue here! They dont care about peoples lives for every boxer that gets ruined there are 1000 more waiting to fill that guys shoes.

When someone dies in that ring or gets left permanently damaged THEN and only then will they do something.

I can understand people backing Pacquiao but can ANYONE seriously say that boxing doesnt need better testing?

    Yep.

People back Pacquiao because they feel he was in the wrong place at the wrong time. They feel he was made an example of. His great achievements have come under question. And they are right to back him.

However, the same people who back him then imply that boxing testing is fine...and that any boxer, including Pacquiao should not have to take extra testing (which boxing needs as a whole)...which is wrong. Whether Mayweather used the testing to get in to Pacquiao's head, or if he actually wanted better testing in boxing is irrelevant...it brought up a very good debate about the current testing in boxing.

I think they should back him.....to a point!

I remember supporting Ben Johnson and going into school to be told he had taken steroids. People need to realise that money and fame make people do stranger things than take some drugs! Its Naive to think anything otherwise.

I believe Floyds main aim WAS to get into Mannys head and whilst he probably does want boxing to have better testing, his decision wasnt to help boxing but was to help himself!

But you are right it brought up a great subject and I thought it was stimulate alot of debate, instead it just got crazy with insults ad people being generaly unintelligent!

Im a member of a tennis forum, my favourite player is Rafa Nadal and people are CONSTANTLY accusing him of steroid abuse despite the fact that he is being subjected to OSDT and has passed every blood test and none of his competitors have accused him of anything. The general consensous amoung his detracters is the testing should be MORE stringent which is amazing to me when I come back here and see how people react to Manny being asked to test!

And this is freaking tennis!! LOL!

If these people became fans of boxing they would bust a blood vessel at our testing!

I don't even know why someone would accuse Nadal of cheating, other than for his physique, and his muscular build. And like you said, they have no argument because of the testing Tennis possesses (And their testing is successful from the snippets that I have seen...a number of players in recent times being caught out).

Pacquiao and Mayweather are great boxers in their own game. mayweather fought at the ams and won trophies and medals, while pacquiao started pro boxing at 106 and continued to rack titles on his way up. I dont know, but haters gonna hate.

To be honest its just ignorance, they constantly claim he has the build of a boxer (mainly because they have never seen a boxer and never seen him in real life)

They are intimidated that he might surpass Federer and want to detract from his achievements.

But I cant support their reasoning because the testing is already one of THE toughest and he takes and passes everything asked of him, so I support him.

Cycling is probably THE most strict testing, they are ruthless with their testing lol and Look people STILL find a way to cheat, who they hell thought of blood transfusions?

So these people are risking their lives performing self blood transfusions to win a bike race? Yet Pacqiao fans think this WONT happen in boxing? Please!

Men are the same all over the world: money, power, pu55y and fame corrupts man!
