Why doesn't Bob Arum want to make the Pavlik vs Wright fight?

What Winky says and what his promoter agrees to, could be miles apart. Even if Winky said it at all. I don't know the interviewer, but he comes across as a jerk. Arum said the fight will not be PPV and his assertion is there won't be enough money to pay both fighters if it isn't. He is intent on building market share for Kelly. Winkey could end up with even more early next year. But, this was interview by ambush. It is a shame. Arum cut him off because of it. We could have learned something.

The interviewer on Boxingtalk always has an agenda. Winky, and I a fan of his, is not an attraction, both Duddy and Trinidad are, as flawed as they both may be.

Look people, Winky would get smashed if he were to fight Pavlik. Winky is not the same fighter he was when he fought Mosley. If youve seen his recent fights, you can see that his footwork is 50% slower than it was when he was campaigning at jr. middle. He doesnt bring much in terms of money, nor does he make an exciting fight, all he will do is demand more money than would Duddy or Lorenzo, so it makes no sense at this point. He should fight Abraham and if he wins that fights, only then is there a legitimate demand to see him fight Pavlik, if not, its pointless.
