Why doesn't Breidis Prescott get Juanma's hype?

Prescott is 20-0 with 18 ko's and he just went into Engalnd and demolished Amir Khan in 54 seconds.

He is also 5'11" and fighting at 135, which gives him an impressive frame for lightweight.

People like Juanma and Gamboa seem to get a lot of hype, but at this point I would rather watch Prescott.

That man looks like a complete beast.

I think its because Prescott has not had too much exposure to the American market (or any other market). I can't for the life of me remember if I've seen any of his fights prior to the Khan fight.

Gamboa and Juanma on the other hand have received a lot of coverage and we are all aware of their performances.

Because we all know Khan is chinny and Prescott looked bad in his previous televised outing

JuanMa and Gamboa have terrific amateur backgrounds that have answered a lot of the questions we dont know about Presscot

presscot doesn't much have exposure compared to juanma or yuri, especially in the US.

    My point precisey.

I have not seen a lot of him...no one has.

See, my entire point about "hype".

After a win like that over Khan one would hope there would be calls for more fights against good competition.

I just don't sense and excitement or hypw around Prescott, and there should be.

I am not sure what your point about how many times I saw Prescott has anything to do with my level of excitement to see him again.

Cause Amir khan's not a proven long time champions, whose known for his strong physical style and his cast iron chin.....and he's not from PR. But more the fomer rather then the latter.

presscot would have better exposure if he signed with one of the crooked 3: Top Rank, GBP or Don King Productions. Lord forbid he sign with Gary Shaw. Shelly Finkel would also be a good manager.

I agree with that 100%...but, Juanma and Gamboa have not beat proven champions either.

I think the Khan win for Prescott was on the same level as the Juanma win over Daniel Ponce de Leon.

    Gamboa has no big wins.

I mean, Prescott won in 54 seconds in England.

That should get more people talking...

The Ponce De Leon win was bigger than the win over Khan. Everyone knew that Khan was chinny coming into that fight. I still don't understand how Khan's people let him anywhere near a guy like Prescott. The Colombian fighters are not exactly the fighters you want your prospect fighting if he's got shaky whiskers. Guys like Prescott, Miranda, Berrio, and Urango are all vicious punchers.

Which is it? Your point exactly, or you don't know the point? Anyway, how many times you've seen Prescott? Nah, you haven't even seen a FULL MINUTE of Prescott. Be excited about that all you want. Knocking out Amir Khan doesn't excite me for ****. Seeing less than a minute of a guy who knocked out Amir Khan doesn't excite me for ****. I'll wait until Prescott actually does something exciting to get excited.
