Have the fight in PR or NYC

I'm positive it will sell tons of tickets... 2 of the best PR jmw's

Cintron is bigger and can box well but seems to have problems with his will to fight

Cotto is smaller and a bit shopworn....

I say cotto TKO 8 via body shots.... cintron dosen't like it to the body

Good fight to be made, and I agree, Cotto would wear him late with body shots. The game-plan will definitely include pressure.

at this point, cintron doesn't bring anything to cotto's career. cotto wants margarito , pac or martinez

It's all about money in his final years which he truly deserves. Cintron would bring in money if they fought, but the Margarito fight will bring millions more, it has the story, it has the following and history. Simple as that.

Cintron is busting aBerto move, doing nothing after 2 gifts after martinez ko and the draw, then the dive (literally), he's done nothing but sit around,i rather see aangulo rematch, he does not deserve a shot at cotto but then again title shots lately have not been needed to be earned.

IMO cintron is a better match up for cotto....

margarito might bring in the money, but I don't want to see cotto get seriously hurt again.. cotto can make decent money fighting guys like cintron, alvarez, wolak and still retire in good health..... IMO margarito doesn't deserve another big pay day.... what has he done? lost to pac, lost to mosely, and beat a domestic level fighter :deal

cintron brings **** to the table, plus totally damaged goods, I'd be very suprised if Cintron gets a big fight.

He doesn't fight Cinton because he doesn't want a L to the puto. Kermit would comfortably outbox Cotto at this point. Miguel a "devastating LMW boxer-puncher" and Cintron some "heartless B level puncher" are comical misconceptions around these boards. Cinton is a very good fighter, much better suited for 154lbs and Cotto is slow, defensively flawed and without a KO punch at this division.

This would be the fight where I make a lot of money off unrealistic odds.

I can envision it right now.. Cotto lands a left hook to his ribs, and Kermit jumps out of the ring and suffers some injury.

Clearly, Cintron is an event winner then, two event wins against PW and Cotto, he'd go down as one of the best of this generation.

Cintron does not handle body punches and pressure well IMO

Cotto has these in spades... I think cotto will break cintron down with body shots IMO

The problem is Cintron blackballed himself. Networks are simply reluctant to put him on television, because they don't want a fight that fans paid their hard earned money to stop prematurely due to Cintron. The guy is simply unstable.

He would do however his 3 event losses in one night to Sergio Martinez put a bit of a dampener on that

This fight was proposed last year but Cotto said he couldn't get motivated to fight someone like Cintron. The plan at that time was to sit out and wait for a Chavez Jr fight.

The fact that Miguel would apparently find it easier to get motivated for Jr tells you something about how he rates Cintron.

I would like to see this fight too, but Cotto-Margarito is something I and the majority of others want to see more.

Instead, why does Cintron not rematch Williams, and the winner face the winner of Cotto-Margarito?

Makes sense all round, 2 rematches where the first fights had a lot of question marks over them, settling scores.
