yes I know it was Cotto's 1st fight at Junior Middle, but that's not the point, look who he was going up against

and undefeated guy who doesn't have tremendous power, and has never really been tested.

and Foreman being the same size as Margarito and can box doesn't mean jack .. can he hit like Margarito? Don't think so you have nothing to retort the fact that Top Rank purposely matched Cotto with a guy who can't punch hard .. so don't try.

For what it's worth Margarito and Yuri Foreman are also both promoted by Top Rank

right Pacquiao didn't want to fight Yuri .. who probably wasn't deserving in the first place.

it only looks so good because Cotto beat an undefeated fighter. Yuri hadn't been tested seriously up till that point though

"Seeing cotto outbox a taller, faster, and younger fighter at his weight coming off the wars he had, should be taking into consideration. He was outboxing the guy all night, "

okay Cotto outboxed Yuri, who was undefeated and taller. But Yuri was also way over matched vs Cotto... big deal. Cotto was considered one of the best @ WW before moving up

even being a title holder was Yuri even close to being considered Elite for the 154 lb division? Didn't think so.

let's not forget that pac didn't want to fight yuri either. cotto deserves all the credit in the world for that one. he did what he was supposed to. they gave foreman every opportunity to get in that fight. cotto used his right hand to set up a beautiful left hook to the body that ended it all. **** the critics.
