Why doesnt Donaire put his punches together?

He needs to work on putting more punches together, and using basic fundamentals. The guy has some elite skill and talent, but he tries to be too flashy all the time.

That's completely untrue. Donaire started putting his punches at the beginning of the round after Garcia urged him in the corner that one punch wouldn't do it. He came out jabbing and setting the left hand and that's WHEN he cracked his tooth.

He want too look spectacular..

 

He loads up on every punch, that's why can't string 4/5 punches together. I think he is in love with his power or he puts too much pressure on himself to get a spectacular KO. This is also the reason why he fades late in fights but then again he just unified belts so.......

Funny thin is I actually fight kind of like him lol.

 

He's a try hard trying to KO a dude with one shot instead of throwing damaging 1-2-4 punches.

 

donaire is guilty of what several fighters have fallen victim to....he is in love with his power. it happens when a guy scores a devastating ko and all of a sudden they think they can do it with one shot. they forget what it was that led to that one shot landing and abandon what got them to that point in the first place. it's happened to the best of them....
