Why doesn't Haye get the credit he deserves for beating Valuev for a Title?

    1. It wasnt impressive.
    2. It was boring
    3. It was a gift decision
    4. It was a lousy fight
    5. It was farce fight since Haye decided to sign contracts with both Klits then bailed out to take the on the weakest champion.
    6. Haye is gay
    7. Who did Valuev beat that makes him such a great win?
    8. Haye's best wins are EnzoMac,Valuev and John Ruiz
    9. Haye has a glass chin
    10. Haye hangs around with Mayweather
    11. British commentators are delusional to think that the US will even embrace Haye.
    12. The English Queen is Fugly and so is Haye
    13. Haye is irrelevant in the sport
    14. Sign the contract Floyd
    15. What do gay horses eat?

I'm pretty sure he had a hand in overthrowing Valuev. Not all the details of the conspiracy have been penned out yet, though. Very very secretive stuff. But Valuev's Morse code after the fight, and body language in the post-fight press conference tells the whole story. He knew he was sold down the river by the Germans. And he was ashamed, but remained unbelievably dignified in such an awful situation. What a man...

    Ditto!

Haye ran like Hell and did not punch. Haye broke two contracts with Klitschkos and will continue to run. HBO does not want their fake fighter Haye to fight Klitschkos, instead HBO lies about them. Klitschkos have the highest KO percentage in boxing, esp. Vitali. HBO's sour grapes will not work on the real boxing fans.

they hate on haye because he trash talks.

it is the only reason i can think of.

People chat shite about how chagaev was the real champ, belts get stripped all the time in boxing yet haye takes loads of stick because of something the WBA did.

He gets no credit because Valuev literally chased him around the ring for 12 rounds. I mean, chased. There were 30 second intervals where Haye refused to throw one single punch. You don't take a man's belt like that. That was a mockery.

oh and Valuev took it easy on him. He felt bad hurting such a small man, so he figured he'd just chase him and throw arm punches for 12 rounds, win an easy decision. THEN HE WAS ROBBED. They took Niko's love and kindness, and used it against him. Now he knows, next time he'd decapititate Haye. And we all know that rematch will NEVER happen, Haye values his life.

Haye deserves alot of praise for the valuev victory but it tends to get underrated. People say he fought boring which is true but i think he fought a smart fight to secure a win. This was one of those fights where he had to do whatever to WIN instead of being worried about looking good cuz not many out there can look good against the giant. HE was ****in fighting a giant who was twice his size and was he supposed to stand in the pocket and trade like a foo?? He may have been boring but he won the title and is now he's in a position to fight the Klits.. Without the valuev Win, we wouldnt be taking him seriously as a HW.

Haye could get credit for that win, but:

    1. He declared his assault on the HW division accusing the Klitschkos of cherry picking and fighting boring fights. He went around with T - shirts with severed heads of the Klitschkos. Then he chooses Valuev, the weakest belt holder in a long time, who only had a belt due to weird politics and fights the most boring fight since Wlad - Iggy.

    2. Valuev was arguably beaten by Donald, Ruiz, Chagaev and Holyfield and they all are smaller than Haye and looked at least as good if not better than Haye against the giant. Valuev's size was not a big problem for these fighters who are smaller than Haye, so giving a lot of credit for overcoming Valuev's size seems misplaced. Just like I don't give Wlad much credit for knocking out Rahman. Donald and Chag were beaten to a pulp by a Klit brother each. Haye set the standards for himself, he wanted to be measured against the best, wanted to bring excitement etc. The Valuev fight simply was a testimony of how far Haye has moved away from his own promises.

He was fighting a giant with a soft punch who doesn't know how to use his size. Valuev is no monster, very low KO rate at the top level. Chagaev was far more aggressive against Valuev than Haye and is only 6'2. Haye said he was fighting for Marciano, Frazier, all the great little HW chmapions. Did he fight anything like Marciano or Frazier?
