Why doesn't Joe Frazier have a statue in Philadelphia?

    When you think Philly, you think boxing. Why doesn't Smoking Joe have a statue in his honor?

    That is some really sad ****. I really enjoy the town of Philly but I feel bad for it as well. All you have had over the years have been boxing legends and the people that can help the city embrace them won't do it. :-( When the last time your town won a team sports title? Your town is overdue.

    What about how Detroit let Kronk shut down? That's bull****.

    You'd think Steward has a shitload of cash and could've kept it open easily... Detroit's losing some good things. Karmanos Cancer Center is moving and Farmer Jack's just shut down. Sucks... :-(

    I'm still going to Wayne State, thus my career hasn't kicked it off yet, so I work at Krogers so **** FARMER JACK!! Were taking over!!! lol :lol:
    But really, we have ebough problems in the city, we lost the name of one of our great theatres and the whole Kronk **** pisses me off. But we do have a lot of championships.

    haha. I go to Wayne State too. I work over at Harper Hospital. It really PISSES me off that the only place I can get food at a supermarket is University Foods across from Manoogian. Everything's overpriced. $2.19 for a can of tuna fish... WTF?

    At least downtown is kicking. Check out Cheli's or Harry's during the fall on Tuesday/Thursday nights. Tons of drunk college hoes... :yep

    It's a crime that a fictional character has one and an actuall former heavyweight champion of the world doesn't.

    I'm taking a French class at Manoog now. I'm supposed to be studying now for the 5:00 pm test I have but I'd rather do this. I'm glad to see the improvements downtown but it will be a while before it is a great downtown. It wasn't that long ago that is was completely blight but now there are a few decent spots.
