Why doesn't Joe Frazier have a statue in Philadelphia?

    You are right, cause there are so many great PHilly fighters but Joe spirngs to mind as soon as you think Philly.

    It is a shame there is no statue for Joe Frazier in Philly. Sad really, he certainly deserves it.

    Joe Frazier has loads of children, they should look after him. Also would'nt you think Muhammad Ali would help him out, Joe Frazir helped him out back when Mu Hammad Ali was stripped of his title and boxing licence.

    I was there in 04' and trained in the gym. It is not under a bridge. It is a mulitstory building. The rest I don't know but I know that you are full of ****.

    Because in Philly you have the most ****ed up sport fans in the world...and they rather have a tribute to a mystical white character to represent the City of Brotherlly Love.....rather than with a man that exemplified the Philly school of boxing like Smokin' Joe Frazier....he just have to be happy with a cameo apperance on Rocky I

    Dude, you will be fine visiting, no one will jack you up... Just don't go at night... I lived in North philly for a long time now (not any more) and that area is cool during the day. :deal

    I lived in North Philly for a summer, great time, I live in Gerard Ave, east of the bridge to the Zoo a few blocks from Broad and Gerard...and yes I did had a great time, the hood was wacked, but I got my respect never had a problem plus when they see you going to the gym, they don't mess with you they know you are one of them.....it was my experince in Philly...still a real ****ed up city when it came to sports...

    Because Joe didn't run down the parkway with half the kids of the city following, and he didn't run up the art museum and fire off some wicked combos to show he was ready to knock out Apollo.
