Why doesn't Joshua get the credit for avenging his losses that Lewis does?

    To me, Lewis' versatility was one of his most impressive traits. Yeah he was a master boxer, particularly late in his career, but had more than enough fights where he simply went out and demolished world level opponents and barely took a scratch in return (Ruddock, Golota, Grant, Botha, Rahman 2). He could box cautiously when needed (Tua, Holyfield) and also showed the ability to gut it out in the trenches (Mercer, Klitschko). Lewis just looked more natural when he was fighting cautiously than Joshua does though, more fluid in his footwork and his reading of his opponent. Joshua got by on fundamentals and athletic ability, but the fight still leaves unanswered questions IMO.

    Got stopped on his feet, didn’t KO Ruiz in the rematch.

    Lennox DESTROYED Rahman in the rematch. The way Rahman head fitted into the crown on the King Logo was fitting. Neither Ruiz nor AJ really put up a fight

    I agree, Lewis looked like a far more natural fighter. He was relaxed in there and didn’t look stiff or uncomfortable.

    Joshua on the other hand is very robotic. And it’s not like he has terrible upper body movement, as he has shown the ability to duck away from shots. But he is stiff at times, and looks very tensed up when not in complete control. This may also explain why he has a tendency to freeze when under fire.

    McCall was sobbing during his ring walk to the ring for the rematch against Lewis because he knew he was going to pull a no mas which goes to show you he felt utterly disgusted with himself for what he was about to do. Now compare that to the two no masses Melon Head Mikey has pulled. The first one being a category A no mas against Salido the later of whom after weathering the early storm was slowly clawing his way back into the fight and when Mikey realized he'd shot his wad and that there had been a momentum shift his little chicken ass jumped out of the fire escape as soon as he was faced with his first bit of adversity. Whoever heard of a Mexican warrior bailing out because of a sore widdle nose??

    And his second no mas was the category C one against Spence. Instead of going out on his shield like a real man would do he opted to play it safe and just try to and navigate his way to the final bell against the featherfished Spence. And to be perfectly honest I feel like that one should at least be elevated to a category B no mas after all that pathetic pumping his fist in the air **** at the end of rounds he'd clearly lost. I bet Big G gave him a right rollicking for that when they got back to his dressing room.

    But he went in there to prove he was the better all around fighter and the previous loss was a fluke and he did. Joshua went in there to survive 12 rounds and get a decision and it showed
