His injuries while I believe genuine doesn't mean he can't just sit on the titles forever until he recovers. It's been over a year since his last fight. I say after 18 months if he hasn't fought then he needs to be stripped and be made champion emeritus like Vitali was when he retired due to injury. That way when he returns he gets first crack at his titles so he can't be ducked by whoever has his belts and he isn't forced to work his way back into a mandatory to force a title shot. That seems the fairest option, the division isn't held hostage by his injuries and he gets a guaranteed chance to earn all his belts back.
