Why doesn't Malinaggi fight at a lower weight?

    ...where his power would come into play and he could actually get some KO's?

    Actually I suspect he weight-lifts. What do you guys think? Think he could lose some of that extra muscle? He's not gettin much power out of it anyway...

    Great boxer, great speed, but after rewatching the Cotto fight, his punches were just annoying Cotto like an incessant bug..

    its not so much his muscle mass its just the way he fights. His first move is always backwards so he cant really generate much power. If he moved forward on to his punches he might carry some momentum and generate a bit more sting but hes never going to be Julian Jackson

    If he could . . . I'm sure he should have done that long time ago. 140 is his real fighting weight.

    He has 5 career KO's. He can sit down on his punches all day, his power at this weight is just nonexistant.

    Did you say power? :lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

    He wouldn't have any power at bantam weight. He just doesn't have a punchers technique. Watch how he throws his right hand, there's nothing behind it, it's an arm punch.

    Tiny hands and a weak punching technique - he doesn't get all of his body behind them and therefore can't KO anything.

    His first three fights ended in KO's against bums, so since then it has been 22-1 with 2 KO's :lol:

    A lot of boxers have small hands. You get more power per sq inch off them.
