Skip 154 to fight a hard hitting MW? :huh Skipping weight classes doesn't work for everyone.

He's just another dude that wants ppl to move up and fight bigger fighters, just so the smaller guy can lose.

    Yeah, that's ridiculous....

At least let them feel out 154 before taking on someone like Pavlik... And then it would probably need to be at 157 if Pav could make it.

Exactly. Too soon for such a jump. I do think of the three, Williams will be best suited to move to 160. Hopefully there will still be some good fights to be made. When Abraham and Pavlik outgrow 160, Williams might contend with some of the young studs @ 154 for the top spot @ 160.

I definetely see Williams as taking over 160 as soon as Pav & AA outgrow it.

He might. But I'm not going to let a win over Andy Kolle make the prediction. Really, beating a scrub like Kolle is all you need to see? :huh

Williams' win over Phillips doesn't guarantee success @ 154 either. Williams really needs to defeat some top contenders. Santos, Forrest, Quartey (if he comes back), Spinks, Dzinzurik... all can give Williams a fight he might not like.

But the Winky fight is a good start.

Winky is a very good test. Kolle & Verno dont cut it for me either. But I do favor him over everyone at 154, and I even favor him over Winky

I don't want to give the impression that Verno is a bum. Because he's not. I just think he was lucky with his win over Spinks (controversial win at that).

Verno has always been average, and yes he did get slucky with his win, but I'll still give him credit. Thats his best win. Other than that, he's known as a guy who's never been stopped. I'll give PW credit for beating him, but the opposition still has to get better than that. Dude was like 39.

    I have to agree....

I like to call Margie a panocha because I just don't like him ( mostly for beating Cotto ).

But Gayweather with his pink thongs is the real *****.
