I like Oscar and he's had a great career, but I will really be upset if he steps in and interferes with Cotto/Mayweather.

What you guys don't realize is that Professional Boxers are businessmen also. Oscar saying he won't, then he will, then he might is all negotiating tactics to give him an upperhand and make them think he doesn't NEED to fight them.

Oscar is just an 96 yo attention hungry ***** who likes to wear fishnets. His 'will I wont I fight XYZ' is just his posturing for attention and focus. He stiil thinks in his delusional mind that he is the 'real' champ of all the middle weight classes and that the rest of them are not **** until Oscar is nice enough to fight them.

I hope Cotto doesnt take the fight because it does nothing for his legacy. Just like DLH didnt do anything for Mayweather's. The only thing DLH offers is a payday. Mosley is better than DLH anyways. And Cotto already beat him. I rather Cotto fight Mayweather/Hatton, Williams/Cintron, or Margarito instead.

Beware, I swear you do not have a clue as to what goes on "in the back room". not a clue! Pro boxers are business men Oscar saying he won't then he will etc. has nothing to do with anything except it being a stall to see who the weakest and most vulnerable opponent to Oscars style is and that will be evaluated by hours and hours of studying fight film from the upcoming fights of possible opponents. Negotiating tactics my ass. With the money involved anyone he chooses will fight him.
